I read until 75.The novel startet on the strong side, few grammar errors aso. so all in all something I'd like to read. Unfortunately the more I wrote the worse the quality of the story became. Grammar was still on the strong side, but characters didn't make sense anymore(including the mc) and I couldn't really identify them anymore based on their actions. Initially I tried to fel into them but it became impossible.The author mentioned multiple times how busy his job is and that he doesn't have much time so I guess there was less and less planning and thinking and he just rushed out chapters to match his schedule... which I guess is also a noble trait but unfortunately the story suffered under it and I can't enjoy it anymore
He’s too much of an asshole and immature compared to other martial arts mc’s. Martial arts is supposed to be about training your mind too but his character is no better than a cocky bully, besides he’s cheating on his wife and the content is all too repetitive. He either meets someone that isn’t his friend and kills him or he’s insulted by a stranger and kills him. Nothing civilized to read here.
Apparently this has been dropped. It’s marked as “completed”, but that’s just a polite euphemism for “author got bored and ran out of ideas.”There are 25 chapters remaining, but the author wants 2000+ coins to unlock the privilege and I, for one, am not willing to spend $50 for the last, rushed ending of a dropped novel. Shame, really, as I was enjoying this quite a bit and wanted to see where things were headed.

The subplot about the 'Harmonious and Loving Family' title competition is genius worldbuilding. It gives the parents a concrete reason to avoid escalation - they're not just greedy, they're status-obsessed in a system where these titles literally mean extra ration coupons. This raises the stakes beyond simple family drama into something more systemic. The ending with Tiewazi calling Jiang Rao 'bad woman' and her using him as a human shield against his mother's slap? That's the plot's darkly comic capstone. It shows Jiang Rao isn't just verbally sharp - she's strategically ruthless when provoked. The author doesn't let us forget that this delicate-looking woman has teeth.

Very nice novel.and indeed very much intruiging since from the beginning of the story.the twists of the story makes us readers to crave for more chapters.and it goes more and more exciting to wait on what will happen next to our dearest cale.
