You should definitely give this book a chance. The writing is strong and clear and it doesn't include a lot errors. The author is active in responding to and liking comments which always feels special. The story has been thought out, and it isn't being done completely on the fly.
Take that level of quality, which can be very difficult to find on this app, and give it an interesting plot and decent characters. The characters are all decent and you can remember them. As it goes on they become a little more comfortable. Some of the first conversations might have a been a little trope like. However by the end of the first arc (80 some chapters) they are on their way to having their own voices.
The first arc kind of drags on towards the end, but it is really just the set up. We know all the major mechanics, plot threads to be explored, and characters that matter for the near future.
The author posts very regularly, so we get something almost every day now that he has found his rhythm.
My score isn't the highest, but I'm grading harshly. I read this every day and it's one of my favorites, and one of the only stories I bother reading anymore.
If the plot doesn't spiral out of control, then this story will undoubtedly still be awesome a year or two from now. I wouldn't even be mad if he posted a little less frequently, that's how good I think it is.
If you read my review, have a nice day and I hope you enjoy the story.
Note: As of this review, Shinto (protagonist) hasn't done a lot of supporting. But he'll definitely do more later. He's very early in the game and doesn't have a lot of skills. He hopefully doesn't somehow turn into a summoning dps.
If you're still here, you should reply with your main support characters. I like Catherine in vainglory.
This is a pretty good read tbh, i hope it gets picked. It’s definitely better than other mediocre books that somehow gets picked. I would love to read beyond 60 chs
If you are looking for a suddenly OP MC, this is not it. However, if you want an actual well developed story with actual logical MC then this is for you. Our MC suddenly wakes and discovers he can't eat food. It is a logical premise as the MC grows and learns more about his condition as a vampire. The story pacing is decent and slowly builds introducing the supernatural. Overall a recommended read.
It looks interesting and I like the fact that the protagonist is old, hopefully that makes him smarter!!!!!
A really good novel. But the sentences "smiled weakly", "smiled bitterly", and "smiled awkwardly" are too repetitive. It would be even better if you can just reduce the "smiling weakly" sentences.
The story's description is suberb and makes you experience what the characters are experiencing. I like the start, the grammar, characters and everything is amazing that you have to continue reading once you start.
Good novel, compelling.
Suggestion: Make sure to flesh out who teleported him back in time later on. You could introduce a bit of fantasy or magic realism/sci fi into the novel. It would help your novel be way more compelling than all the stories in where this happens for no reason.
Please try to think of an overarching plot that includes this.
Overall 5/5 for now. enough said, added to library.
I just don't like the writing style and the jumping of povs without a single indication that it's happening, seeing the same scene twice, once for each person involved, it's just not my thing
The author put his hard work into this book and now people are downVoting it because of it being in recommended?? Come on guys dont do that. If you don’t like it talk it up to the guys who made this feature.
This type story is not worth reading because the mc is weak will and I hate those with that character the most because those characters fear the strong and bully the weak and they tend to betray their friends when put under pressure
I dont see any negative reviews so i suppose this will no be here long. I hava a lot of issues with this one... First is wording in sentences, additional words and explanation of poitless facts over and over again. Next is the story, i got to chap 80 and I am so bored with all the pointlessnes of MC actions and his logic, i thought that if he was a gang member he would be resourcefull if not smat but, but he is just swayed by any little thing and every decision is made by others. There are no feeling and depresion as author advertised... Just a cliche fantasy with nothing new. Only positive is side characters but that cannot save whole book. I hoped for something in there but got only boredom and bad english.
Don't read much sci-fi, only one I actively read is TLM. Can't say much about the novel other then that it probably wont be picked, lacking the young masters and jade beauty's needed to move past trial read. Maybe webnovel's corruption can actually prove useful in this scenario by actually releasing a novel that is not word vomit.
Also: Not a fan of the new layout
