I already read the original translation up to chap. 144 and I try to read here for continuation because the update is slow and as I'm reading this my brain cells is slowly decreasing because of the translation I just can't understand what is happening, sometimes random numbers appear and the word United States just came out of nowhere?

To those afraid of the MC forgiving the ex-wife after reading the description, you can be somewhat at rest. The transmigrator feels a strong need to protect her family, but no feelings towards her (at least for now). However, this is really unimportant. The MC gains power as if drinking water and in less than a week has more power than the entire city's guardian. He also taught his system-given technique to someone else he barely met because of well.... some reason? I'd suggest you skip this nonsense.
I know this story will go downhill but still is readable. Too ostentatious. read it only if you have nothing else to read. old-timers who can not find anything good to read can definitely read it once at super speed as it does not have much fanfare. Only 25 chapters in, this is just at the boundary of being trashed.
The mc is good and not stupid or arrogant, the "cheat" need him to work for the rewards and the world background isn't really original but it's really hard because a lot have already been used before.
But the author like to repeat himself a lot and it's a little annoying so only 4stars.
I'm pretty sure this novel is at least partially inspired by A Hangman's Diary: The Journal of Master Franz Schmidt, Public Executioner of Nuremberg especially the start of the novel though obviously this is a mystical setting and not a real diary of an executioner. It's like a combination of that and a somewhat interesting twist of a sign-in novel except instead of signing in he executes demons to get rewards. Unsure where it will go beyond the executions.
Overall, it seems fairly decent. I think it could have been better if instead of a sign in type system he just gave the MC a cultivation technique that relied on slaughter to cultivate and if you get to a certain level you can leave and join a sect or something. That'd be at least a little more interesting than falling victim to some of the same problems that many sign-in novels have such as getting x number of years of cultivation as a reward. Still it is at least a better concept than most sign-in novels at least at this point.
I just love this Novel so Far. And inalso love the dYnamic between the two.
Loving it a lot. It has a good mix of humor, action, background and progress. With a lot of creativty, the author gave this book a very unique feel. And I can totally submerge myself in his world. If you want something different, this is a good read
