I must express my disappointment with the recent chapters and an earlier event in the novel, which has led me to rate it only 2 stars. Here's why:
The antagonist's character development was marred by a deeply unsettling plot point where he was raped by a man due to an aphrodisiac, which served as a ridiculous justification. To make matters worse, he was drugged by the antagonist's minions because he refused to engage with a woman, which is completely absurd. The victim-blaming that ensued, particularly for someone who was raped, was disgusting. The antagonist, who previously raped his pregnant wife, was portrayed as a despicable character, but even he should not have faced such shaming.
Initially, I hoped that the protagonist might undergo some character growth and find happiness, but alas, that did not happen, which is a common issue with Chinese authors.
Regarding the story itself, the MC's tale was intriguing, with a reasonable level of believability. The knowledge he gained from the book and his experiences were useful but not overly powerful. It was nice to see him occasionally face challenges, although I prefer a more balanced portrayal of success and setbacks.
The relationship between the MC and ML started off poorly, lacking credibility, but improved later on. Their intimate moments, such as their first sexual encounter and marriage, were well-handled.
The supporting characters maintained their initial personalities and any changes made sense within the context. If not for the disappointing ending, I would have given the novel a higher rating of 3.5 stars.
The story is difficult to read due to its questionable aspects, particularly regarding the system. I can't help but feel愤怒 towards that black cat; I wish I could put it through some extreme punishment. The slow pace of character development is highly frustrating. The author introduces developments only to abandon them, making it seem like a distant possibility. It's driving me to consider dropping this series.
I don't think the romance label accurately represents this series. The romantic interests keep changing, and the relationships fail to develop. It doesn't qualify as a harem either. The story mainly revolves around the MC's struggle with their gender transition, despite being 200 chapters in and not fully female yet. This isn't solely the MC's fault; the black cat is responsible for the predicament. Early on, it was established that the cat could turn the MC into a full woman, but it chooses not to, citing discomfort with the in-between state.
Despite the distressing situation, the slice-of-life parts of the story are somewhat enjoyable. Overall, I would rate it 3 out of 5 – it's neither terrible nor exceptional.
Having immersed myself in "The Lifegivers," I found the novel an engrossing and thought-provoking read. The intricate plot weaved a captivating tapestry of humanity, where the protagonists' journey to discover their own capacity for creation resonated deeply. The characters were compelling, their evolution both inspiring and relatable. The exploration of life's mysteries left me pondering long after the last page. Overall, a profound and unforgettable literary experience that lingered in my mind.
Having immersed myself in "Supremacy Games," I found it an enthralling read that captivated my imagination. The intricate world-building left me in awe, as the characters' struggles for power and survival resonated deeply. Each turn of the page brought unexpected twists, keeping me on the edge of my seat. The exploration of themes like loyalty and ambition was thought-provoking, making it a compelling blend of action and intellectual intrigue. A must-read for fans of immersive storytelling, this novel is definitely a standout in its genre.

Hi shameless author here giving review to his own novel. i hope you guys can give it a read as this is my first novel (read it with an open mind). if you have any comment and suggestion you can let me know via comment. The story is not like any typical transmigration novels you will find out there. if your looking for a new change of perspective but still wanna go for the transmigration genre then you should definately read my work.
