Okay so I have to talk about the Red Committee scene because it genuinely gave me chills. The way the author describes it — Lu Qingqing slipping money to someone just to get a glimpse of her family, the three nieces and nephews with their little faces all dirty... it's such a sharp contrast to everything else in the chapter. You've got this woman just casually dismantling Ye Lingxi's drama, completely unbothered, and then BAM you're in a detention facility where she can't even properly hug her own relatives. The atmosphere shift is brutal. And the detail about Zhang Shan and Huang Ergou being held up and not having time to trouble them yet — it paints this whole world where danger is always lurking, always one step behind. The author doesn't need to describe the Red Committee in elaborate detail. A few lines about the guard, the bribes, the dirty faces, and suddenly you're fully immersed in this tense, oppressive environment. It feels lived-in and real, not like some generic political backdrop. That final image of Lu Qingqing asking if she can take her nieces and nephews out, with Committee Member Sun just standing there watching... I literally felt my stomach drop. This world has rules, and they're not kind to anyone.
I like it that the MC so cute and hilarious to the point he became ooc. Hahaha Looking forward to the back ground story of MC and his favourite disciple. Hence Plot holes for a reason? Awaiting next chapter update

the MC is simp trash,he is emotional,he generally cares about people rather then seem them as disposable tools.He just met someone and said he will protect her.athirs like them should not be allowed to use the word mage,sorcery,etc.The are unworthy

Absorbing story! It's filled with a lot of captivating factors. The narration is good. I liked the writing flow very much. Although it's not my favourite genre the story kept me interested! It's undoubtedly a good read for me.
