Poor unlucky John...the last of his family, his brother, died and all he's left with are the massive debts his parents left behind. His brother has also left him with a special edition capsule for latest VRMMO. While he envisioned them playing together, at he's given John the tools to hopefully pull himself out of the gole and create his own legend!
Um....did we mention our hapless MC is unlucky?? Qhat ensues is hilarity as he builds his own legend in-game!

the MC is garbage, he acts like a complete doormat and has pretty much no solid personality to speak of, his so called "companions" are just a ****ty fairy that treats him like crap and like the slave he is, while dodging any consequences and in fact getting rewarded for being ****ty, and a "sidekick" that's constantly getting influenced by the fairy to also treat him like ****. neither of their actions ever seem consistent or coherent and the fact that we're basically forced to watch this wimpy MC getting used for labor gets really old really fast. ALSO, his supposed "guide" consistently hides or conceals information and useful things from him simply because she "can" or because she's scheming behind his back. of course, the MC can or wont do anything about this so whats the point in reading this novel about a worthless character no one cares about being abused by other worthless characters no one else cares about.

Shameless Author here, with a shameless review.This novel, Condemning the Heavens, is my current main novel. It is my third cultivation novel and I have been writing it for over a year. It follows a guy who just wishes to be a hero, but reality is cruel and life goes against him time and time again. He is forced to flee for his life and he gathers friends and companions alongside his journey.The story is about how there is no good or evil in the world, that everything depends on the view of each individual, and that you have to fight for your own happiness.I have written quite a few novels. On this site I have Blue Phoenix and Overthrowing Fate which both are complete and cultivation novels. I wanna see how this story goes. Like I loved it soooooooooooo much. I'm a fan. A fucking goddamn fan. the story is so immersive, never has some other story been able to grab so much of my undivided attention, except a few.
Interesting story, so was the character. It was actually more interesting for me to read this novel than usual because I have also written a novel where the MC is extremely OP at the start but the setting was different.
