The start of the novel was quite good and funny, but after he went to the Poison sect and became the head of the sect he started killing cultivators indiscriminately for the sake of obtaining points. All of this while having 100 initial chapters and the title of the novel about breaking trough too fast
raw chapter pls ?????????????????............................................................
It relies too much on its humor, which is a problem when it isn't funny. It's the "the MC is stupid," kind of humor, where you're supposed to laugh at the MC. However, when the mc is too dense to suffer the consequences of his own stupidity, it isn't funny. It's pathetic.
What happened to your chapters?! I was going to read them, but then I found 15+ chapters gone!
Not a 'bad' book but truth be told its not that good either. The quality of the writing is decent, the translation is easy to read with only a few minor issues. The story... damn. The author apparently watched Austin Powers and styles the MC after Dr. Evil, for those not in the know the villain of the movie holds the world of 'today' hostage for... One million dollars. The MC here is also offered the chance of a similar pay out that will disrupt a world spanning system that will replace the internet. There's no concept of value. As others likely pointed out the game is also set up in an illogical fashion, the author seems to have read another VR book but ignored doing any research in true class design, hell they could have looked into WoW for a better hunter make up. Honestly, the author claims Dexterity is not a core stat of the class... but then explains how the stat affects his two initial skills directly. If a stat affects how your core skills work... its a core stat. But nope, apparently a ranged/trapper class leans heavier on strength and constitution. *face palm*Chen Mo as a character seems to think he's a genius... but any GAMER would have tried what he did... and he lauds himself above average players. Not a bad character design but by the same token the plot seems to think the average gamer is an idiot.Updates... its a trial read at the writing of this so, good I guess?World Background is confused. They are planning to adopt VR to replace the internet, yet the game is sorta a full blown thing, yet he constantly gets first player achievements. Monetary value of the systems success/failure is as mention like out of Austin Powers, its so ridiculously low balled it makes you question if he's hacking an arcade machine not a world spanning system. All in all, its not a bad book, but there are far better books in this genre that set the stage far better and establish realistic premises for their plots. Divine Hunter seems poorly researched and even more lacking in conceptualization.
Somewhat humorous, a little bit cliche, and sometimes a bit forced. It’s not too bad of a read, so I guess you can give it a try. This is as of chapter 30.
A very fun read. A new perspective on the mage class. If warlocks/ necromancers can summon undead, then there should be another magic class that controls plants.Plants vs Zombies anyone?!I like to see how creative the author will be in using plants, as tools/ weapons/ summons.
What a cool ? and heartwarming ? start! I gotta say I am impressed with the grammar! No obvious mistakes, kudos! Now for the story quality, I am impressed also! Nice and engaging plot! Good luck with your future and I hope to see it ob December! This could be an anime or movie if chosen!
The translation quality is poor, there was even a paragraph that wasn’t even translated! Don’t get me started on the plot holes, one plot hole is that after the “system” came, there was literally no panic. Everyone was just going on with there life’s like nothing happened. Another is that there are secret guild bases within 24 hours of the “system” appearing. There are more but can’t be bothered to mention them. i DO NOT recommend
Very good novel, please don't drop it. In my opinion, this is a hidden gem. I read everything in two days and I would like to know the Kai's further adventures.
LOVE the book, really... but like, why the info dumps? It's so great to read, but past chapter 400 and you feel exhausted with every chapter. Like, it has no real content and it feels like the world building never stopped because the author does TOO much world building. We get 10chapters for like every second case, then even the 'short' ones take over three chapters. We get foreshadowed for so many things and there are hints here and there, but it also lacks drastically in following these hints because the author doesn't know how to progress the story. It also feels like the author doesn't read his own novel, because several times it was mentioned he levelled up, then he didn't do that apparently, then he would level up soon, but when is soon? Like, from the beginning of the novel till around chapter 400 we have been in the world like 1 month. Seriously??? In a novel where years are thrown in the thousands, we spent ONE MONTH in 400 chapters?Another thing that really annoys me (besides the missing grammatical skills) is the fact that the author seems to forget plot points he wrote and then makes it so that the mc seemed to forget these points (like ignore the fact that heir memory is hyperspeed), also it's super weird how the info dumps come in the middle of the fights and the talks partially seem to be minutes long while the enemy waits and doesn't do anything. Please explain why a hyperspeed brain needs minutes for three-sentence-discussions?? Like you could be talking with your spiritual sense for hours in other novels, and only a second passed, while here, it seems that spiritual sense talking takes longer than normal talking.
