So far the mc looks like a disgusting side-kick character if you don't read from his perspective(seriously you should considered this before refuting me),and the author forced help to make the mc backround more pitiful and humble doesn't help much. For example the cab driver has been trying to be nice to mc but when he got off after he got that battlescouter(dbz rip-off) and look at the driver stat he just mock him for being a piece of crap?! Also the storyline is just a wish fullfilment of someone who doesn't(it's so obvious) suceed in his university life(like a vault of money,a mansion of hot top 5 chick in university and some loli and milf),too forced to make it look like a modern xianxia novel(which it isn't).Yeah i admit i doesn't into much harem plotlines,but i did if it doesn't affect the plotlines and revolve around mc getting more harem member as the main objective(what are you a pokemon trainer or something?)

Why in the world would you lock below chapter 20, much less chapter 5. locking chapter 4 and above is foolish, and a huge waste of my time to continue reading during a trial read. This is quite frustrating too, as while I have enjoyed the first 3 chapters this is nowhere near enough unlocked content to willingly continue reading.
Sounds similar to another novel called bring a farm life to another world and hope it will be better then that other more recent farming novel.

The world building is fine. We are introduced to some places as well as their internal politics, not much in terms of culture, but I guess still ok. The power system is fleshed out and defined, though the author him/herself will often violate it. There are many fights that just don't make sense, not only based on the damage sustained by the mc but by the survivability of the enemies. It feels like he is just too op, so the author has to use cheap tricks in order to make the fights remotely entertaining. Side characters were somewhat developed at the start (like his father being both proud and jealous of the mc), but their quality has honestly declined. However, I could ignore all of that, afterall the story IS interesting... but what I can't ignore is the MC behavior. He has extreme stupidity masked as curiosity that the author uses to justify nonsensical decision-making to move the plot forward. I don't think a mc must be perfect and always make right choices, but what I dont like is how this mc repeatedly makes wrongs ones and instead of facing consequences, plot armor kicks in and he gets benefits instead. The excuse used by the author that "if something feels forced, it's just that I have not explained the reason behind it yet" can only work so much. Overall, I feel saddened because the story had great potential, but it just didn't live up to even a fraction of it.

Overall, the author paint the story beautifully
There's something really interesting happening beneath the surface of this chapter that I want to unpack. The central theme here is identity and performance. Duan Zhuo keeps assigning An Li roles — girlfriend, wife, sister — and she keeps rejecting them, yet somehow each rejection just pulls her deeper into the performance. When he tells the doctor she's his wife, she doesn't correct him. Not because she agrees, but because the alternative is explaining last night to a stranger. She's trapped by her own lie. The knee injury is a perfect symbol for what happened between them. It's visible enough to cause limping and attention, but not serious enough to require real medical intervention. It's the physical manifestation of their situation — something that happened, that leaves marks, but that she can't really explain to anyone. The doctor's diagnosis of 'bruising' is almost too on the nose. Then there's the loudspeaker. Duan Zhuo carrying a loudspeaker in his car is such a bizarre detail that it has to mean something. It's a tool of exposure, of making private things public. He threatens to use it to announce what happened between them, but in a way, he's already been broadcasting their connection through his behavior. Every time he calls her 'baby' or 'wife' in public, he's using his own voice as a loudspeaker. The love letter An Li wrote to Duan Xingning that Duan Zhuo intercepted is another powerful symbol. It represents her true feelings being stolen and redirected. She wrote to one brother but ended up with the other. The letter is a ghost in this story — something that exists but we never see, shaping everything that happens. And the fiancée reveal at the end — Wen Shuyi, the 'proper' choice — represents the life Duan Xingning is supposed to have. It's the symbol of duty and expectation, contrasting with the chaotic, unwanted desire that An Li and Duan Zhuo represent.
