now this book is in my top 3.. very very good and u wont find any other books that the MC cheat need him snorting white powder, hes an addict.. oh btw.. if possible read this at night it will make you sleep easier because its a very warming story
Once Upon A Time, There Was A Spirit Sword Mountain, is not your normal
cultivation novel ie MC gets power up after power or beats other's 5 ranks above him etc as you'd normally see in this type of work, it has some great comical moments, excellent characters who will make you laugh and some of the dialog between the mc and his teach is great well worth a read
Amazing book love the writer's amazing how much I love the idea of a new era of villains and the updating speed is amazing and I love it keep up the good work

My favourite out of all the new trials. It is not the greatest or original story but i like the story. Also, i like it that the author took time developong the story and did not rush it much.
Thank god ISSTH completed before this sh***y war between QI and ww , still i am reading novels from both sites, chinese authors are great creators of imaginative world. If QI going to monopolise all the chinese novels and then putting paypal for reading novels, then i have to stop this amazing journey in chinese novels because i cant afford it. But i hope this doesn't happen.....

interesting characters and world background and good plot
First of all, I don't write reviews and not sure how to.
But if I have to describe this book in word then - Magnificent.
I would Strongly recommended it
for the writing quality, it's so good paired with a nice story progression and good character design and what would call an interesting world background.
The MC is no saint and no devil, He's an emperor, a conqueror, an old one on top of that, choosen by goddess to help her save or I'd rather call it 'fix' her world.
as an old conqueror he's experienced, shrewd and smart but sometimes time he breaks character and become an idiot
