why do I feel that this book's storyline is not as good as the original.... felt disappointed when the original got cut. take lily for example, in the original book she has more life, compared to this one. I just hope that the books will later come to unity, becoming one whole book...

So at first the MC was kind, likeable, and even didn't want to kill, but through his experiences, his personality slowly adapted a still kind and likeable, but would do anything to protect those he loves kinda attitude. Even when he learns of his past, he didn't want to get revenge, he wanted to rely on himself to surpass the bastard who stole from him. But then, he entered that other dimension and everything took a 180 degree

I haven't read it but I'm giving it 5 stars since the author is very bold with his premise, the lack of "system" is what makes this stand out, making this interesting and unique...
Well, I will be shameless enough to give my book 5 stars, the story follows the growth of Maximus with all his imperfection. It shows how he matures slowly trough the story. Because let's be honest all humans make mistakes and all humans have to grow slowly learning from their own mistakes. Through the book you will see him not only becoming stronger but also wiser. Losing friends, making new ones, fighting evil, being evil. Exploring the world and enjoying life to its fullest.
