very good, only problem is that it just stopped the whoke monster thing and just became a cultivation novel for more than I am comftrable with and it feels like its not worth it

Great cover! it instantly hooked me for the story. And so far writing quality is very good!
as for what should be improved. the synopsis... its a mess. I'm my opinion you should properly arrange it.
Also after reading some chapters I noticed some of your sentences were too long. don't be afraid to go on to the next line. Also am very doubtful about your chapter names(perhaps make them a bit shorter?)
The hook is the MC is an alchemy emperor. So when he gets that cheat, I'm fine with it.
BUT THE FIRST THING THAT HAPPENS WITH HIS CHEAT?
"Hey look the strongest martial artist manual ever, I'm going to be like that guy now!"
So if anybody was expect somebody uses alchemy to ok overcome issues basic wuxia MCs would use brute strength with, this is not for you.
And if you looking for an interesting book with a new take or interesting presentation this is not for you.
The Good: A good xianxia without any useless fluff for the most part. Author puts in plenty of effort to keep the quality high and it shows!
The Bad: The cultivation levels are very hard to follow, I personally don't like it when I have to take a mental note of the levels because they are not intuitive. A slow pace is good, but going too slow makes it a chore to keep up with. I personally don't feel anything unique from the MC or the world, I feel like a plain character was placed in a generic xianxia world instead of building the world around the character. Sorry if that doesn't make much sense.
The Neutral: While this novel doesn't try anything new, I feel like the author is aware of that and plays to its strengths making it a very solid novel amongst a sea of cultivation novels. (Although the cultivation novel sea is many times smaller than the romance novel sea)
Holy shít, this novel is great! Of course, nothing is perfect (and that's why I'm giving it just over 4 stars) but this book is damn close.
I suppose I'll write a fully-fledged review, so here we go! :
Writing quality-
I haven't really noticed anything wrong with it. If there's typos, or grammatical errors, I certainly haven't seen them but if I'm honest, I'm not a very observant person. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
The story also flows nicely, and it's written quite well. Not to mention the humour in this novel is right up my alley, as in my opinion the only thing funnier than dark humor is straightforward, trying-to-be-serious-and-not-at-the-same-time humour.
I dunno how it works, but it does, and I think I've laughed at almost every single chapter. I've also cried, and have been left speechless on many occasions. It's been a héll of a ride so far, that's for sure!
Story development-
Now, this is an area that I did have one or two minor problems with. We were warned that there was no particular plan for this novel, but oh man, sometimes I felt that the story could be going anywhere.
Of course, it isn't cliché, and that's wonderful (beyond wonderful, actually. It's refreshing) but I just felt like some things in the novel just didn't matter as they were arbitrarily decided and came out of nowhere sometimes- and that feeling of detachment isn't so wonderful.
Other than that... it's been fantastic so far!
Character design-
Oh man, where do I start? I think Bob is one of the best MC's I've ever read about. He's an idiot with a chicken, a naive, poor, hapless, gullible, but loveable idiot with a chicken. If I was Christian, I would say 'God help his soul', but I'm not, so, yeah...
And it's not only Bob and his chicken (at this point, they're a package deal- it doesn't feel right to mention one without the other), I think I've actually liked every single character that has been introduced thus far (ch 69, and there have been quite a few characters!) and that's only happened at most 4/5 times in the 7 or so years I've been reading all sorts of novels...
Updating stability-
Well, I've read all the chapters that were already here, so I can't say anything about the updating stability. There did seem to be a couple of bumps based off of the 'author's thoughts' bits, so I had to deduct one star of this category for that.
World background-
Ahh, what can I say... It's been slowly but steadily revealed as we go along, in a rather smooth way might I add. The place names have been hilarious, much like the rest of the story, and somehow the author has made everything plausible and detailed.
To sum it up, I don't think I'll ever be able to type enough praise for this novel, so I'll try and condense all of it into one thumbs-up emoji:

I have decided to write my second review after having 63 chapters so far and I want to let you know a few things. One, this is my first novel so it's not a surprised for you to see so many flaws in it. Two, I never written a novel chapter format before but I have learned as I continue to write more.
Now let's go to the pros and cons of this novel.
Pros
Stability in update of course is great and the storyline is unique in it's own way as the protagonist does not "follow the book" rules.
It has some comedies and light-heart moment in a serious situation. The MC may seem like a simp but he's not because he has no lover like many male out there. Therefore, it's hard to know how to act around a female considering his inexperience.
Not much pros as this novel is just the beginning of me writing in an impulse.
Cons
Let's say the grammars and tense could really make the story a bit confusing but smart readers should understand my meaning. Of course, if you found some wrong use of tense, do let me know so I can fix it and not look like a fool.
The POV aka point of view does changes multiple time through out the novel but as I'm writing this review now. I have fully decided to get rid of the first POV to third POV as it's easier and gives me a wider range in story telling.
The fight scene are not that great given I don't specialize nor have experience in how to portray one. But I will try my best to improve it and please be lenient for once.
Overall, I didn't rate myself highly since most of the category is either a 3 star or 4star except for my stability of updates. I just hope you will give me a chance as a new writer in here.
