The fact that English is a universal language is indeed common sense, partly because it is simple to learn. But in asian novels/dramas, knowing English is often treated as "godly skill" worthy of everyone's shock, praise and awe. Even if you don't know anything else, just throw a few English words with "pure British accent" (even if it's on a level of "My name is Bob") in whatever meeting and you will be treated like a "real genius". Maybe they have a hard time learning it because of language differences or smth, but knowing English is often really "overpriced" and it looks absurd. I guess just like it is common to think that "everything foreign is better", same with "foreign language is better"

The characters lack depth, and the main character's (ML) affection for the protagonist develops almost instantaneously after their initial meeting, without a proper reason. All the intriguing aspects about the MC are disclosed early on, leaving no room for intrigue or curiosity.
For instance, the revelation of the MC's parentage and background is abruptly presented, not as a gradual discovery for the character. The author reveals this backstory too soon, eliminating any suspense or mystery for the reader. The explanation of the relationship between the MC's parents is poorly executed and rushed. The omega father heats up unexpectedly during a crucial mission, and the alpha father defies his orders to stay away, leading to a clichéd scenario involving heat, hormones, and a hidden crush. The author could have developed the story more thoughtfully, but instead, the omega father's pregnancy and disappearance happen abruptly, followed by an alpha's surprise confession. It reads like a hastily written fanfiction targeted at younger audiences, with rushed plot points and cringe-worthy inner monologues. I simply cannot continue reading.
