A true winter read that only promises to get better as the plot continues. Hint!!!!!
By all that is holy it'll be to soon if I have to read another 'he reckoned' or 'I reckoned'.....ugh.....there are other words!! Use them!!
Overall, the story is fairly decent and well-rounded, Definitely wish there were more chapters.
Can't wait to see what happens....
Still love the development so far, this author is doing amazing. I couldn't imagine juggling this and Life outside of this. People should take their time with stuff and only continue with what they enjoy, it's great to see this author taking their time so they aren't stressing themselves.
This review is at chapter 70~ (minor spoilers) Honestly, this novel is pretty good and I suggest giving it a read, but it most definitely isn't for everyone. All the bases of a good novel are hit like a good power system, interesting concept, lots of things to be discovered, etc.) The more glaring issue, and honestly why some people will drop this novel, is the MC. To put is plainly, the MC is more or less an idiot consistently. For some reason, the author makes him 25 years old when his actions are more in line with someone who is around 16. He constantly craves validation yet acts like a man child several times. To top it off, in a tournament, for reasons purely chalked up to plot contrivance, doesn't kill two of his enemies. The author excuses this by saying he isn't focused on killing but exploring and seeing new things. That doesn't make any sense because...you know... he is literally in a pvp tournament and used to be top 1% in a pvp centered game. I will keep reading because I hope, maybe naively, that the MC won't stay a complete idiot for long and the rest of the novel is pretty cool.
This is the second time review the novel .Guys , you don't know what you lose by no reading this novel .It is a dramatic masterpiece ! Please support the author that for real is doing a great job !
This was one of my first novels I read on here so I kinda forgor to write a review.ha. ok. now... this has one of the most amazing world building aaand just TOO GUD.. ok yea I love everything about and the only reason why I didnt complete it was because.... NONE lol its just cus I have bad memory I could be reading some thing I love then see another book and just click on it and start reading that one.If you see this click on the read 1st chapter button... Right nou.
I'm not very good at reviewing things, but this is simply a masterpiece. I love everything. The power system. The pacing. The technique the author uses when it comes to flashbacks, it makes me want to know more about the history of this world. I can't get enough.
After struggling, dropping the novel and then picking it up again, I’m finally quitting at 1354. I seriously have a ton of complaints but I’ll just put the main one here.
The author made it too obvious that he’s just trying to drag this novel as long as possible. We all know the mc can pickup attributes, and when he picks up attributes from people stronger than him it works even better since he grows much faster, even making him jump levels earlier in the novel. However, The author basically nerfed the mc as soon as he left earth so that he could drag the story.
That’s not even the main reason why I’m dropping it. The tipping point for me was during the war on the 29th defense planet. Three eternal ranked were involved in that war. The human eternal wounded one of the devils and then another showed up ready to clash. But guess what? NO ATTRIBUTE BUBBLES FROM THEM, the author didn’t even mention them dropping attribute bubbles, the story just continued like normal with the mc picking up attribute bubbles from everyone else on the battlefield. Of course, why would the author let him pickup attribute bubbles from them? This would make him get stronger too quickly, and since he just wants to milk this story as much as possible, he just didn’t want it to happen, so he just didn’t let it happen.
In the earlier part of the novel the mc grew so quickly but ever since he left earth he grew SUPER Slowly, even while coming in contact with people much much stronger than him. It slowly became a novel where it’s just face slapping. Someone Looks down on mc because his level is weak, but of course, he has so many things that can make him fight across realms. Boom, their face gets slapped.
I also have to mention how terrible the story became later on. The author started dragging fights that could be done in a single chapter, making them take 5-6 chapters or sometimes even more! I also can’t forget to add that the author started writing entire chapters describing information about attribute bubbles. It wouldn’t be bad if he did it like a litrpg or something but nah, it’s just a filler chapter that’s there to make up numbers.
I’ve never been so angry about a novel in my life. It had so much potential at the start.
I
PLEASE THUMBS UP THIS COMMENT SO IT CAN BE SEEN ON THE SUMMARY PAGE OF THIS BOOK, IT’S IMPORTANT!!
Everyone, someone is already translating this for free with 700 chapters on their site. It’s called World Apocalypse Online and if this novel is chosen to be translated here behind a paywall, then Qidian will make the other person stop translating. The only way to stop Qidian is to not read or support the novel in this trial read at all. That means we don’t choose this novel to be translated here, and we especially don’t pay the twenty one chapters that are locked behind a paywall, since that’s how they choose which novels to translate and which to drop. If we do that, then this will be dropped from trial read after fifteen days, and the original translator won’t be forced to stop translating this book. This means we won’t have to pay for substandard translation (at least for a couple months before they edit it) using our coins and fast pass and can instead read a good free translation with consistent chapter uploads (2 chapters each day). Please follow this and DON’T SUPPORT THIS BOOK!!!
TL;DR: DON’T BUY THE CHAPTERS ON THIS BOOK IN QIDIAN SO WE CAN KEEP READING THE 700+ CHAPTERS ALREADY TRANSLATED (with good quality) FOR FREE IN ANOTHER SITE.
Just found out after reading the raw, in the raw the country the story happened in was in China, and most of the characters and companies are Chinese. The translator changed everything to American, the story happened in America, the characters and companies are American.
Good novel. Typical OP mc with high IQ. A good read. Focuses more on domination and training troops. If you are a fan of empire conquering novels then this will suit your interests. But dayum. 5 people rushing into an army of 400k. I am amazed how one could even survive that. Anyways, i am dropping this novel because it turns premium before reaching top 50 and i follow my rule of dropping any novels thst turn premium before they reach 400. Might dig up this novel once it is completely TL'ed and turns free. Till then. Farewell ling tian.
WoW, glad to see my most loved Chinese novel finally coming to webnovels...
I seriously hope some of the money earned from here go to the author of this story.
I've been following him since 2014 and even made a qidian account to donate around 300$ to him in these few years just because I really love this novel and the author's financial situation is not really good.
Anyway, this story start okay... But it get so much better as it continue onward... The author started at 2013 and been writing for the past 7~8 years, his writing improve so much over time and the latter chapters are pure awesomeness.
I already read all up to date to the latest chapter 1260 and man I love this novel.
There is so much great and unique techniques and foreshadowing and mystery you just can't help but enjoy, theories and look forward to their reveals.
I have a big review from 2018 in novelupdate for this novel but it's full of spoiler (from Pedram in top reviews), so I keep this one spoiler free, but I just tell you that this novel is definitely work checking out even if you don't really like the early chapters.
As the MC himself also grow a lot and his character become so much better that he became one of my most favorite later on.
