"Hentikan Ivan."
"I am also going" Sasuke said as flickered from the spot leaving Sakura behind who also used chakra to run from the spot.
I've been thinking about this chapter for hours and the symbolic layers just keep revealing themselves. Let me start with the most devastating one: Youyun crying "Mom" in her sleep. This isn't just a plot detail—it's the key to understanding her entire character. She's a woman who has built herself into something tough, something sharp enough to cut through bureaucracy and corruption in grassroots work, but underneath all that armor she's still the daughter who misses her mother. Ten years and she still looks at the sun and moon like they're her mother watching over her. "But you're already up there—how can you have my back?" She's talking to a dead parent and the grief is so fresh it could be yesterday. Then there's Jiang Muhe's longyi. The text spends actual time describing it—"just slip them on and tie a knot at the waist"—and how he feels like he can "truly become a Dai person" only when wearing one. This is about identity and belonging. He's a military man who retired, who's caught between his father's expectations in Beijing and the life he's built in Banna. The longyi is his anchor to this place, to this culture, to himself. And the fact that he's bare-chested under an umbrella, drinking beer, watching the sunset paint his back "pink"—it's a man who has finally found a version of himself that fits. The roses are everywhere too. Yan Nuo's flower cakes, the rose garden on the back hill, the packaging that's selling nationwide. Roses as something cultivated and beautiful that can also be commodified and shared. Youyun fell into a pit while trying to save Jiang Muhe—she got her hands dirty for him—and now his roses are feeding an entire village's economy. There's something deeply symbolic about that: her sacrifice literally blooming into something that sustains people. And the sun. The sun that Youyun looks at when she's lonely. The sun that kisses Jiang Muhe's back pink. It's the same sun that her mother is supposedly watching from. Light as connection, light as witness, light as the one thing that never abandons you.
This caught Odin's attention, the elderly king looking to the shinobi with an unreadable expression.
"Oh yes and in case if he fires any one of us then don't forget Miss so confident Ashlesha will take care of us . Until we get new job am I right Ashlesha .."
And all that glitters is gold

Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running
With the conversation now ended we get up, clean off the table and head back the guild hall. Upon entering the building I head to the mission board, meanwhile, the rookie stays back a little, probably still a little bit anxious about being in a new place. I don't know, I study metal, not the mind, for good reason of course. I start to look for quests that are close to one another, if we're going to be gone for a few days might as well grab two that are close. I noticed one of them is up in Kelos, *What does Feyrind need now? Well, might as well, haven't seen her in a year or so.* I take that one and the one next to it and walk over to the administration desk, we really need to get a new one, damn thing looks like it's been through two wars and a flood but Elris insists we keep it because it's 'broken in just the right way' to me it gives the guild a bad look once you walk through the door. Elris as always, is sitting behind the sad excuse of a desk, oh and asleep this time? Wow, big shock, no one in the guild really takes quest anymore, most of them make their money by gambling and the one that don't are just here to say their in a guild. But my thoughts once again are wrong as he jumps to life and starts patting himself down, I look over to the rook and see him try ever so hard not to laugh.
I washed the rice and showed him how to use the rice cooker, then I reheated some leftovers and gathered a few side dishes while he set the table.
"Do you know why I asked you to kneel?" Mustafi asked with a calm voice, the voice of a father speaking to his child.
After cleaning plates and utensils, Sanskaar tucked in bed with Samar. He was reading bed time story to Samar, when asked about something, out of blue which halt Sanskaar reading further.
