book not finished just ended. getting to a point then nothing
The premise from the sinopse and early chapters is arrogant overpower no guild, in the chapter 10 he is dumb, useless, weak and naive, I can't understand how a Mc that left the a job to try to get a live in games, will be this clueless about the game, you left your income, the first thing is have a deep knowledge about the game, I was not expecting that.Is a good novel if you want to read a slow story with a naive mc, I don't want thought.
The title of this book is kind of stupid, ignorant and pompous. It actually should be titled as "I Am A Child
First I want to say that the translation is great. Let me say it again the translation is great. Good now that I got that out of the way.... Do Not I repeat Do Not read this story if it's not "completely" translated. As of ch. 555 (the # of the a-hole) the translator has caught up to the raws that are released "monthly" and the author is just filling the story with constant filler which shows he has no idea where he's going with this. I highly doubt this story will ever be completed.... but hey you never know. The characters are interesting but there's no actual "plot". There's no enemy to fight.... no purpose behind it all.... just a "slice-of-life" story with your over-the-top chunni MC... I don't even care.... I read 555 chapters and it was fine.... until the Naruto-level of fillers showed up and then the monthly updates..... just go read something else.
Alright, let's get started with positives.The writing is good and the plot of the story is slow and interesting, developing characters very well. reading it in big chunks is the ideal way of reading the book and rewarding. The MC and the world are not nice and something you can appreciate and you do not see the MC find one hard to find treasure after the other. The first arc was great and showed the life of common people and the second arc showed the life of wealthier nobles and it continues on shining light on the world. Worldbuilding is good. MC and Juno's relationship is quite unique and interesting. The goddess's introduction and interference are annoying but an element that shows there is more growth than that MC needs to undergo.Now on the negatives. He does experience trauma and his character becomes more sadistic, but his response to Marana, Dinah's sister (Alice I think) and some other characters are less than adequate. He does have enough clear thinking to understand them and pushing them away from harm's way but he does the opposite many times, makes it hard to accept his actions. While the people who treated you badly you can screw with, not those that cared for you. Even worst his treatment of those that fu%k with him is very friendly and nice, while those that appreciate him and care for him are used by him. If the people that would stick around are a*sholes, is it even worth caring about his future if it only consists of the worst people in the empire with mental issues? The goddess's interference in every one of his action gets a bit annoying at times, while a limited amount is good for the story but the constant appearance makes one think what is the point of this if all of this will be later screwed by the goddess anyway. The intrigue no longer lies with the result of his action, but how the goddess will ruin it.Another positive is the Comedy of Dick Baker. This did bring a change to the story and was integrated wonderfully, The Arc removed some of the extra gloom from the story. The MC going deeper and deeper in darkness was no longer interesting.Another negative his way of only being happy in someone's misery constantly happens too often. He only gets happy and aroused to see someone miserable. Once in a while, if he does get happy of his own violation, it would be nice. Overall, it is a unique story and an interesting read. You do have to read a chunk of it to get a better understanding of the plot and do not judge it quickly because there is more to it.
Very very generic in later stage, already read up to 400 in MTL. It just enough for you to passing time, and that's it. If you have nothing to read, then you can consider this...............

i find the current ending a bit lackluster, considering he was trying to get back to his master than all of a sudden he forgets about her? doubt it, also him doing destroying entire sects solo i doubt his master wouldn't have tried to stop his rampage

I only gave 3 stars to story development and character design. This is your average novel and it is already 38 chapters on RoyalRoad and it is the extremely slow pace.I felt potential in this novel and it is fucking too normal. MC is pretty calm and his past self is plainly stupid but he became mature after that. This novel has so much potential but author only used typical trophies that you can find.The problem of this novel is too slow and the chapters are very short. I recommend future readers. come back here after this novel's chapters accumulate to over 100 chapters.
