"No, please Yan-er, don't tell this to your Madam!" Ye Zhi Shao said pleadingly.
One hour had passed since Laskey had begun looking for Kalifa, unfortunately, he had to yet to find her.
i have read about 70 chapters and this is my review, there a while lot more downsides to the story than upsides. The novel has a good story and a decent MC with decent word building but that's about it. I sincerely hope that this book is a translation because other than that I can't find another good reason for how bad the writing is. From purely a grammatical standpoint this novel feels like it's written by a 4th to 6th grader; words that don't even make sense are used in sentences, phrases that don't go along with the story, and the writing only gets worse as the story progresses. And the story development isn't a whole lot better, characters show little to no improvement over entire lengths of the novel, the author is constantly switching up the classifications of power systems(never explains it either), and for some reason the language of the novel completely changes after chp 73 like there's a while new author writing the story.
"Roar!" The Bearmen's boss suddenly stopped attacking. It flung its head up to the sky and let out an earth-shattering roar!

This is a great book and I give it five stars the dialogue and the way you describe things is awesome and I see that the author is improving in every chapter so this book has a lot of potential. Great job
I'm a fan of this novel already! The reason why I wrote a review is because I want to support the writer. His work is really great, it's been a while since I found a great novel like this. In the story, the male lead is a nice guy as well as their parents. It's a shame that their life is so tough, hope they'll get a better life.
Review as of 132:Overall, this novel is kind of a mixed bag for me. I quite enjoy fantasy stories with things like magic to break up the monotony of cultivation stories. The issue though is that despite being the inheritor of the Magi, hes largely been learning from the perspective of a Witch and as a demon since hes been a "familar". I'm also kind of lost since while the story has decent grammar and chapter length, many things haven't been clearly explained. Like he went from being a forced staff member to a familar of two witches but he is actually the one in control. I feel like that process was incredibly fast while not clearly explained. Another contention is that Wolfe feels as though he doesn't have a mind of his own. Like we know he wants to get more powerful and so he remains cooperative with the witches but he kinda feels like a op slave. Comparing it to something like Witch Hunter which has somewhat similar world settings if you compare the hatred of men vs witches and magi vs witches/world. I've never felt lost while reading witch hunter and always felt that i could clearly understand the choices and goals of the mc, feel like Wolfe has never clearly shown his goals. These issues might be addressed later on when Wolfe learns more about the world and finds more magi related information but this is my review so far.
I read it for a bit and along with other reviews and comments I can tell that the initial problems are going to be consistent throughout at least for a couple hundred chapter or more…There is a lack of interaction between the MC and the world(0 description)The plot seems rushed for no reason, I can count with my fingers the amount of times the MC had a proper conversation with the supposed female lead and she is already “in love”, everything is skipped pver and off screened. The concept is pretty unique I’ll give the novel that and I was a bit excited at first… However the blatant plot armor and the lack of reasoning and interaction from the MC just butchers it, for example he “tames” beasts but then forget about them… there is no real connection and it feels plain soullessAnyways, the novel is good for a very casual read if you are bored… it might get better or not after hundreds of chapters but is it worth the time? Not for me at least, I don’t mind if the MC is naive at the beginning but when there is no basic world building or dialogue I can’t tolerate 3 stars ?u200d♂️
