"What are you gonna do? You can't beat me with your non-existant cultivation."
Silence befell the couple, just as usual. It was how they had loved each other over the past decades. A comfortable silence, where a mere presence was more than enough to convey their feelings.
"Tch. This kid is getting more rebellious by the day." The owl, with his hollow eyes, looked at his skin and sighed. He didn't have to keep up with the facade anymore. The illusion of the transparent flesh disappeared and lightning-streak cracks appeared over his skeletal body. 'My time is ending anyway. At least I won't have to deal with him any longer.' He clenched his bony fingers into a hollow fist then strolled into the forest with ghost steps.
Thank you for reading! No time to write with double full time job...
After a couple of minutes, Alicia regained her composure and rolled herself up into a sitting position. She hasn't noticed anything amiss inside of the room—it was the same as when she first entered. Thinking to herself for a little bit, she wondered, "What the hell happened?"
"I have to keep my distance form those crazy men!" Xu Feifei was terrified and increased her speed.
Yu Xiao Gang thought about Liu Erlong and felt a burst of pain in his heart as recalled their past and how much he owes her.
Do not give up. It's realy good and I can see that you put a lot of troughts in this story. You got my interest!
Though it sounds as though it would take a very long time to perform all of these steps, the blacksmith was a master of his trade, and had completely finished the process within an hour.
"Well that is because although your Jonin you either have the freedom to join me or are Jonin without much authority. If you want specifics, Kurenai I want you because your a Genjutsu master and that is the area I'm lack in terms of training. Gai you because of your Physical training and Taijutsu mastery. Yamato because I'm planning on befriending the Kyuubi and well would need you to make sure he's controlled. Asuma, your a very powerful fire user and have a good amount of skill in all areas and finally Kakashi for basically the same reason."
Okay so I need to talk about this one plot thread because it absolutely wrecked me. Wei Zhenye has been planning this for EIGHT YEARS. Eight years. He came out to his parents, he paved every single path, he had a custom-made ring AND a hair tie ready in his car. The man didn't just fall in love—he built an entire runway for it. And then there's the Du Guosheng dinner, which I'm still processing. He Zheng thinks he's just being introduced to a director, but the text drops this line: "Last night? Wei Zhenye had attended a charity gala the previous evening—was it for his sake?" And I'm sitting there like—wait, did he go to THAT gala just to plant a seed? The plot is so deliberately constructed, every move calculated, and that's what makes it so beautiful. It's not a whirlwind romance. It's a siege. He Zheng kept hesitating, kept pulling back, and Wei Zhenye just... waited. The mother's phone call was such a perfect beat too—she says "You can date, but don't forget your work" and that's it. No drama, no rejection. Just... acceptance wrapped in practicality. Meanwhile He Zheng is over here panicking about whether his parents know, and Wei Zhenye just disconnects the Bluetooth to let him hear it. The plot doesn't rush. It breathes. And that ending with the director asking "have you given it more thought since last night?"—I'm on the edge of my seat. What is he thinking about? What did they discuss at that gala? The story is building this quiet tension like a bow being drawn, and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
So here we are, back with another announcement/authors address/whatever else chapter.
