I really wanted to give this a 1/5 due to its sheer stupidity, but I have to admit that I was somewhat amused at the start, and the manga and anime were decent enough to let me laugh a bit. The concept and underlying theme are quite intriguing and could be great, but the way this author wrote the story makes it nothing more than manga material. It has the potential to be quite funny if given to a skilled mangaka who can bring the characters and their silliness to life with wacky and random expressions and a very high-paced storytelling style.
However, as a novel? Sorry, this author has no talent whatsoever. Not even a smidgen. After a few chapters, he clearly ran out of ideas and just kept the story on repeat like a broken record. It’s a pathetic display of not recognizing one’s own flaws and knowing when to stop a dead novel. The repetition becomes so grating that you eventually drop it in disgust.
I liked the main character's "cautiousness," or more accurately, his desire to control the situation with no possibility of failure. The MC is essentially the guy who levels up to 99 before challenging the Demon King with a fully geared and optimized party, the type who farms experience until he can breeze through half the game. He’s also insanely talented, to the point of being ridiculous. The goddess by his side is a silly moron who just gets in his way and serves as the butt of jokes, mostly about her being lovestruck with the MC but treated like a disgusting pig, which she kind of is. Her smell and incompetence are often highlighted for comedic effect, but it gets old fast.
The plot is a never-ending cycle: Train crazily and surprise people —> Absolutely dominate the opponent while pretending to be weak and hiding his true strength and doing excessive preparation —> Go somewhere safe, usually the Heavenly Realm, to train more right after the battle —> Use the power-up to defeat more people —> Train more —> Defeat more people easily. There’s no sense of accomplishment in any of this. We don’t even know the MC's thoughts; he’s not really the main character but more like the heroine in a normal novel. Everything is told from the useless goddess's perspective, which is a huge minus. After all this training, he keeps getting reset and has to start over.
At first, the story being told from the goddess’s perspective was somewhat interesting, but it quickly became another irritation. When the cycle repeats and the goddess becomes nothing more than an annoying disturbance with zero intelligence, you simply don’t care about her or her thoughts. Meanwhile, we’re left completely disconnected from the actual "MC" of the story, the "hero." So nothing matters, and things just keep repeating, making you care less and less each time. It just feels stupid at the end of the day.
Don’t even get me started on the world systems, power levels, and combat. I’ve hardly ever seen anything worse. The gods are just pathetic, none of them seem particularly powerful. The author makes fun of them by portraying some as sex fiends, others as macho crybabies who want to bake cakes after being ruined by the MC, and some as tsunderes. The hero makes sure to be rude to all of them and treat them like trashy experience generators. His abilities keep shocking them, which is supposed to be part of the comedy. But the combat is ten times worse. Nothing makes much sense; the MC just learns new skills out of nowhere and uses them suddenly. We have no grasp on his abilities, and it doesn’t matter because the combat is absurd. All enemies pretend to be "cautious" like the MC, so he can show how he’s "OP cautious" by one-upping them with hidden cards, causing them to gasp in awe. Combat is decided by buffs, with power levels jumping wildly. People get "buffs" like becoming a demon and gaining a 30% power increase or being blessed by an evil god and becoming 1000% stronger. The MC is no exception with his random abilities. In essence, combat is about who can pretend to be the weakest and then release seals or get buffs to show off in these "amazing turns of events" that are supposedly "unexpected" and "plot twists." It’s toddler-level stuff.
The "plot twist" was incredibly bad. It almost made me drop the book because it was so stupid, but in the end, it changed nothing. A few chapters later, the MC is back to normal, and the goddess seems even more useless than before. You can only go so far with comedy consisting of only two elements repeated over and over: the MC’s "cautiousness," which is essentially rudeness and control mania, and the goddess being ridiculed by everyone for being the most worthless person ever (which is somewhat justified), who also smells like rancid garbage 24/7 for some reason (because the author thinks that someone smelling like crap is the most hilarious thing in the world).
This is, without a doubt, a garbage novel. I have no idea how people can even manage to translate it because if this is the experience I get by speed reading it, then it must be a slow hell for translators. I can’t give it a 1/5 because I enjoyed the initial 2-3 rounds of fighting and the manga and anime versions. But I feel quite sad that a novel with such good potential was ruined to this extent. It’s a crying shame.
The main character is struggling with depression, haunted by memories of her previous life that make her question her current role as a villainess. She faces rejection from her family, who view her as a wicked individual. Her supposed younger sibling is revealed to be a White Lotus, adding complexity to their relationship dynamics. Although there's speculation about a potential romantic connection with the male lead (ML), no romance has developed yet. The story is captivating, but it would benefit from a more focused progression, as the emphasis on the past occasionally slows down the narrative.
My Dear Brother ofc it is, it is comedy/fantasy novel but it is really i mean really good i prefer it over Perfect Run trust and read
The mc is completely stupid, he has enough strength not to have to put up with certain insults and stupid characters that he can stay away, but he still remains there being made like a doormat.

just completed if you are are reading this for fun you have come to right place my friend if you see the harmen tag and come it's a wrong place for you. action is average in my opinion but overall it's. a good story I will give ait a 4.6
This is a good read just that it can get a little annoying how lucky he can get apart from that it is good you won't see him looking for trouble on his own accord (kinda)
