Great novel if you like overpowered mc, read till chapter 200 the mc is like one punch man, destroyes the heaven and the earth with a single sword. Waiting for some romance build up.
Jesus, the male lead here is a fokin piece of shit. I regretted ever starting this. Like bruh, idk why this author made the male lead into someone who acts like a male prostitute and sleeps with women here and there. Like, there's this chapter where after doing it with FL the days after he acted like a fokin douchebag and even slept with a prostitute given to him by the crown prince. FL even got a fever but he had the audacity to take that prostitute out on a date.. I so badly wished that Ning Mingjie was the male lead for the FL, he honestly didn't so much more male lead actions than that piece of shit Ning Yuxuan. I feel so stressed out after this.Sure it has a happy ending but the actions of the male lead on halfway through the story was too disgusting and I can't see him in a good light. I also gotta say, our FL is quite dumb. There's already so much things she knows and she's read the book too, she had the advantage but in the end she still couldn't think straight or properly and followed the wishes of that pathetic Nie woman's spirit, like.. Doesn't she have her own mind and can make her own decisions?? She still went for that piece of trash guy. Idk why but I'm thoroughly upset after reading this. (Yes, this story has polygamy in it in the first half or more into the stories and yes the male lead is a fokin piece of shit stud horse that sleeps with lots of women so if you don't like that, I don't recommend this)I'm sadly the type to finish a story once I started them. I legit wanna delete this so many times though. So very badly. I was reading with gritted teeth. Spare yourself some trouble if you don't like a shit male lead. I hate you author.

In my opinion what I hate the most in novels is the repeating structure of arcs, like for example first arc MC meets an arrogant handsome powerful enemy then gets oppressed and he meets some difficulties then whaack! He defeats the enemy!! Then the same situation happens in the next arc, arrogant enemy,oppressed, defeating enemy and it becomes a loop.

MC is not overpowered, the background is very solid, and it reflects real life. Hard to describe, but this novel is basically about reality and human nature
