I really tried to sit here and give the book a chance like the chara is really lame but it’s easy to ignore how he acts, I just can’t continue after his comments about the type of servants he will be having like really it’s annoying when they are just surrounded by straight women.
I didn't get enough context to give this story a proper review. However, something that I would definitely like others to know is this. The translation is extremely localized in a way. For example, the terms lich and wizard are very associated with western fantasy. However, this story is an eastern fantasy story. Another thing is that this story gives off extremely dark vibes. The atmosphere in most parts of the story were dark and gloomy. There really hasn't been anything to completely confirm that this story will be really dark though.I recommend this story for others to read as it is interesting and fresh.still banned for 9 days now. i tried reading but could not get past the first 10 chapters. Story itself is good, but bad English ruins experience. I could barely get into the story, every other paragraph, i had to re-read a sentence and correct it in my mind to make sense of it. Tenses are all over the places, sentence structures feel unnatural and painful to read.

And the plot doesn't just stop at character introduction; it layers in mystery like it's stacking firewood. The Sheng Sijia thread is what really hooks me. Lin Xitang mentions her casually—"After Sheng Sijia had that incident, ran away from the hospital, no one had seen her since." That's it. One line. But my brain immediately starts spinning. What incident? Why did she run? What does she have to do with Xu Zhizhi? The author knows exactly what they're doing here, dropping breadcrumbs without any explanation. The structure of these first chapters follows this pattern: establish Xu Zhizhi's oddness → introduce her friend group → reveal something unsettling about her past → escalate to a social situation she can barely handle. It's a slow burn, but the tension builds because every normal interaction feels like it's one wrong move away from disaster. The bar scene at the end? Chef's kiss. She's already overwhelmed by noise and lighting, and the story hasn't even gotten to the actual conflict yet. I'm also noticing how the plot refuses to give us easy answers. Who is Xu Zhizhi really? Why can't she function in normal spaces? What happened to make her this way? The story trusts us to sit with uncertainty, and honestly, that's refreshing. Most novels would have explained everything by chapter three. This one is playing the long game.
This was one of the best reincarnation novel i have ever read! Had always wondered what would it be like to read about being reborn as a different gender! Most novels are have cross-dressing FL but finally we get to see an actual female being reborn as a male and the way she/he has to adapt. This novel is also related to the real world so i have learnt many facts that have blown me away! Thank you so much author-sama and keep up the good work!

the story is fine but the details of intercourses are very detailed but the battles aren't.. its just weak spot here they solve it themselves and done win.but when it involves intercourses it's literally detailed to the point that it's even showed as a custom in parts of the kingdom.
