jumping from the first book to the next book and back to a Christmas special is confusing and sometimes the wording gets confusing.
This is still my favorite book in the entire app. Too bad for the translation, but the story line is great!
amazing story worth it
This novel is so boring and nothing new. The author has 0 creativity! The story revolve around the main character, going to new places to level up, kill all the enemies and move on! The story line is so bad it will shock you for 3days and 3nights! (Author favorite phrase)
There's this theme running through the whole section that I can't shake. It's about what people value and what they're willing to sacrifice. The Chen family values sons over daughters, money over their daughter's wellbeing, tradition over her happiness. They've built their lives around exploiting her, and when she takes everything away, they're left with nothing because their foundation was always built on taking from others. Meanwhile, Chen Xi's space is growing. It starts small and cramped but keeps expanding — the RV, the farmland, the two-story building. The space represents everything she's been denied: security, comfort, autonomy, a place that's truly hers. And the more she takes from her family, the more her space grows. There's a symbolic justice in that. The empty house is also a powerful image. A home should be a place of safety and warmth, but the Chen family turned theirs into a prison. When Chen Xi empties it, she's not just taking physical objects. She's removing the symbols of their control over her. The beds, the furniture, the food — all of it was part of the system that kept her trapped. Taking it away is an act of liberation. And then there's the marriage arrangement. Her grandfather arranged a marriage for her as a child, and now they're giving that same marriage to her cousin. It's like she was never meant to have any agency over her own life. Every decision about her future was made by someone else. Her revenge isn't just about money or stuff. It's about taking back every choice that was stolen from her.
