The tension in this novel is not just good—it's suffocating in the best way. Let me walk through why I cannot stop turning pages. Open with Xu Qin lying to Song Yan. She's caught between two men, playing both sides, and every conversation is a potential detonation. When Song Yan grabs her wrist and demands to know where she's been, the stakes are clear: if he finds out she's still connected to Meng Yanchen, everything collapses. But she needs Meng Yanchen for the money. She needs Song Yan for… what? Security? Love? She doesn't even know anymore. Then cut to the golf course where Chen Jiakang is desperately trying to impress Meng Yanchen while hiding that he's involved with Fan Shengmei. The stakes here are financial—Yongkang Chemicals' future depends on this relationship—but the personal stakes are just as high. Chen Jiakang is playing a dangerous game of deception, and Meng Yanchen is circling like a shark who already knows something is wrong. But the real nail-biter is Fan Shengmei's birthday. Her mother calls demanding eighty thousand yuan while debt collectors are at the house. This isn't just emotional conflict—this is survival. Every scene involving Fan Shengmei carries the weight of someone who has nothing to lose except her dignity, and that makes every interaction feel like walking through a minefield. The office confrontation between Xu Qin and Song Yan? 'We're only engaged. We can end this anytime—we've split before.' That line is a threat wrapped in a reminder. They've broken up before and they'll break up again, and neither of them knows which version of this relationship they're actually in. And Meng Yanchen? He's the calm center of every storm, which means he's the most dangerous person in the room. He watches. He calculates. He buys the expensive cake and then writes 'To the puppet who has grown a soul' on a card. The stakes aren't just rising—they're multiplying.
Hi, hello. Like every other person I came in the review section to review this. I am not going to get into the story I will just tell you how I feel, and it is upto you guys to read this or not.I came here reading that review of that pixel art pfp dude and read like all the 6 chaps. Plot is cliche and not to my taste. I mean it is generic, 'I got stuck in the game and now I have to get stronger to save the world.' I maybe had missed, but I haven't seen any grammar mistakes till now and the writing is good but character dressing and their expression aren't give importance much and so does the background. But it is decent till now with the slow pacing... (My opinion btw. if this doesn't remain decent or will get better like the pixel pfp guy has said, I will drop ts.)
it's very good and the gore scene are good but there are still room for improvement ✊️

Hello~ I'll be biased toward my novel, haha :)Alright, since I love talking about my works, I'll answer a few questions.Q: Tell us about the protagonist.A: The protagonist's name is Arin. He is 21 years old. What makes him special is that he is realistic, and his interactions feel natural rather than forced. He's a weak protagonist, but what sets him apart is his depth—he has a philosophical personality, a warm perspective on the world, and a fatherly attitude toward others. He’s kind, and talking to him is pleasant, even though he seems very introverted~.Q: What makes your novel good?A: Well, there isn't a single thing that makes a novel "good" since tastes differ in the end. However, I focused heavily on world-building and character development. I think what makes my novel stand out is its deep characters, who don’t just feel like tools to move the plot forward. At the end of the day, I treat my characters with respect, not as mere plot devices :).Q: How did you come up with the idea?A: The concept of being transported into a novel’s world has been on my mind for a long time. Through brainstorming and seeing various ideas, my imagination sparked—and tada~ this is what I came up with. And that’s it! Enjoy reading ^ᵕ^.
A great recommendation for readers who love cultivation.?♥️
