First: I have to say that I'm glad author-san used reincarnation instead of body theft of those so called righteous transmigrators. As a cultivator myself who reincarnated in this mortal world, I'm happy that author-san know how blasphemous the act of body theft is.
Second: This novel remember me of History Strongest Senior Brother, where the mc is the so called Young Master, the mid or final boss from the lower realms. It's good to see this approach because this make the mc strong from the start and we don't have to swallow the inumerable luck encounters that mc with poor background need to reach the same height that a Young Master.
Third: I hope there are many "protagonists" to appear in the novel against our mc even in the Immortal Realm (if there one or similar in the future). Because what we want to see a Young Master doing is slaping arrogant protagonists! (how in the world the mortals of this world can like arrogants protagonists without a background and only because they are transmigrators/reinccarnators/got a great luck encounter is out of my compreension and maybe a hidden dao of the heavens).
4th: Her senior sister is a yandere? I hope not.
5th: Author-sam, o you tought about using a "female protagonist" as a enemy to the mc? Or if mc can befriend some more moderate "protagonist"? (Arrogant "protagonist" don't need mercy)
6th: Amazing novel, I'll try to vote the power stones in this novel every day o/
While the setting of a VRMMO as a backdrop of a story is by no means unique nowadays, the author has managed to lure and maintain interest using the MC's past and the interesting implementation of gods and historical figure significance in the form of legacies - which in the context of this story is essentially inheriting said historical figure or god's legacy within the game. I have some speculations as to the significance of legacies as the story unfolds and further develops, but will refrain from doing so till more clues and hints are given.
Also, the gradual revelations of Isaac's past in the form of out of context character interactions, character behavior, and dialogue is a breath of fresh air as most authors like to info dump their readers within the first few chapters the entire background of their main character. The gradual revelations add a layer of mystery that acts as a driving force for the readers to continue reading in order to find out what exactly happened in Isaac's past for his character and the characters around him to behave in certain ways. It makes for a much more compelling way of storytelling as readers have to piece pieces of the puzzles using the clues that are given at that moment of time in the story.
There are some jarring details in the entirety of this novel, however, one of them being the constant mention of how "pretty" or "beautiful" Isaac is. From the constant misperception of his gender as a female from characters that do not know him, to his "flawless" skin that the ladies get jealous with envy of. I will give the benefit of the doubt and have faith that this is an intentional detail that the author has included in this novel and that it will tie in somehow to the bigger picture of the story later on. In addition to this, there are some inconsistencies to the author's use of literary devices - namely foreshadowing. Not gonna spoil it here, but it was the kind of foreshadowing that reveals to the reader in a single sentence what will happen in the future directly in an overtly obvious manner instead of subtly giving a clue. The juxtaposition of author's clever gradual revelations of Isaac, the world, and the characters around him and awkward bad foreshadowing is jarring to say the least- especially when the latter almost completely destroyed the surprise of certain aspects of Isaac's development in the plot that I'm sure will play a big role. Not bashing the author for this too much, but just wanted to give some feedback so such improper use of foreshadowing or any other literary devices would be improved in the future and in his other stories.
Overall, this story has potential and whilst it got some flaws, those flaws can fundamentally be improved upon if the author sets his/her mind to it. I am personally eager to see the development of Isaac and the plot and from what I have read so far, I would recommend this to all who may be interested when reading the synopsis and give it a go. To those who may be hesitant to dive in, still give it a try and formulate your own opinions as what others may not enjoy, you may love.
Author broke his own world building in charter 1, had to correct by massively increasing the power of other characters to compensate, notices that that didn't work because MC is immortal and now has to somehow weaken the MC while not taking away his cheats.
How someone who has traveled back in time and is immortal doesn't at least quadruple anyone in level at day 2 is the question, which the author answers by making the MC as low IQ and EQ as possible.
I kinda like it... I love the idea behind it... and I really want to read it... but it just does not strike a cord with me.
I have read 23ch... and I had to force myself to read it for the last 10 ish chapters. I just don't like that the colonists are experiencing hardships at every corner... nothing feels like it's going right for them. Even though it probably will work out in the end. It doesnt feel like progress is being made and that makes the story feel very slow paced and thus boring.
Everything else about the story is fine, the grammar, the style of writing is ok, the world building really feels like it will lead to something great with all the little tidbits that are beeing dropped.
It is just that the story does not grab my attention and nothing so far has been something that would make me feel excited/happy for the MC or his colonists... everything that happened so far just made me feel worried and anxious or just straight up disinterested. For every step that is made it feels like they make 2 steps back and that some new problem arises.
Well I have rated it highly because I do think that it is a novel with an interesting premise... and that it will probably lead up to something very interesting later when the colony grows and when, I'm guessing, we get a more of a kingdom building aspect which I always find enjoyable. Tho I don't want to torture myself reading something I don't find interesting just to get to something interesting after 200 chapters.
Good Luck with the story!
Well instead of a review here's the lyrics to the Song Deja Vu, best known from initial D.
See your body into the moonlight
Even if I try to cancel
All the pictures into the mind
There's a flashing in my eyes
Don't you see my commission, the nation
Has gone running again
Can't you see now, illusions
Right into your mind
Deja Vu!
I've just been in this place before
(Higher on the street)
And I know it's my time to go
Calling you, and the search is a mystery
(Standing on my feet)
It's so hard when I try to be me, woah
Whooooaaa!!
Deja Vu!
I've just been in this time before
(Higher on the beat)
And I know it's a place to go
Calling you and the search is a mystery
(Standing on my feet)
It's so hard when I try to be me
Yeeeaaaaaah!!
See the future into the present
See my past leaves in the distance
Try to guess now what's going on
And the band begins to play
Don't you see my commission, the nation
Has gone running again
Can't you see now, illusions
Right into your mind
Deja Vu!
I've just been in this place before
(Higher on the street)
And I know it's my time to go
Calling you, and the search is a mystery
(Standing on my feet)
It's so hard when I try to be me, woah
Whooooaaa!!
Deja Vu!
I've just been in this time before
(Higher on the beat)
And I know it's a place to go
Calling you and the search is a mystery
(Standing on my feet)
It's so hard when I try to be me
Yeeeaaaaaah!!
See your body into the moonlight
Even if I try to cancel

5 stars because I like the premise of the book. Can anyone give me the raws or any book that has a similar storyline? Doesn’t matter where the book is located.
Been a long time I didn't write any reviews or even read much on this platform, but the power of an anti hero shrewd gender bending main character is too good for me to not read.
