I need to talk about the chestnut scene because my heart actually hurt a little. After everything—the confrontation, the divorce threat, the mother's drama—Su Hanchu is just... bustling around. Cooking, feeding everyone, making sure the Qin Prince's Mansion people are taken care of. She even brings chestnuts to Chen Wenqiao, her mother-in-law who literally called her a seductress. That's not weakness, that's strength. She's not playing the victim. She's just living her life. And Jun Moye watches her do all of this. He eats two chestnuts. She doesn't come back to him. And then—he speaks. "Su Hanchu, come here." Not gentle. Not sweet. Just... desperate, probably, even if he'd never admit it. When she sits down, he asks if she's tired. "Are you the only capable one among so many people?" He's basically saying: let me help you. Let me be useful. Let me not be this broken guy who can't even stand without leaning against a wall. Then he puts two peeled chestnuts in her hand. Two. That's it. That's his entire emotional vocabulary in this moment. No apology. No grand declaration. Just peeled chestnuts and silence. And Su Hanchu? She doesn't make a big deal out of it. She just pops them in her mouth and keeps working. She sees through his awkwardness because, as she notes, she's lived two lifetimes and sees him as basically a child. But there's tenderness there. Real tenderness. The kind that doesn't need words. This is what made me soft. Not a confession. Not a kiss. Two chestnuts passed between two people who are both too stubborn and too proud to say what they actually feel. And I was over here like... yeah, I see you, you two. Just talk to each other already.
I need to talk about the scene where Rong Li walks into the study and sees Zhan Qin. The author wrote: 'Morning light filtered through the window lattice, casting a soft glow on his sharply defined profile, cool and clear as jade.' I read that line three times. THREE TIMES. It's just one sentence but it paints the entire mood of the scene. You can feel the quiet of the government office, the soft golden light, the way Zhan Qin is just... there. Working. Unmoved. Untouchable. Like jade. And Rong Li is over here holding a soup tureen like it's a peace offering and he's treating it like it's nothing. The setting itself is so well done too. The government office, the desk piled with documents, the window lattice casting patterns of light. It feels real, like you could walk into that room. And then Rong Li placing the jade tureen 'careful to avoid the documents he was reviewing'—that small detail tells you everything about how careful she is around him, how she's always mindful of his space. Also the contrast between Shen Zijin's warm, almost comical entrance (scratching his head, blushing, stammering) and the icy atmosphere between Rong Li and Zhan Qin is chef's kiss. The scene shifts from almost comedic to deeply tense in one glance. That's skilled writing right there.
Wow! This novel hooked me from the first chapter. The mix of romance, action, and mystery is just perfect.I love how the romance is intertwined with the action scenes. It keeps the tension high and emotions deep

Good writing, nice pace, and most of all, there is some drama. Even if Zach is a little bitchy, I like him the most. The tension between him and the leader of the group gives me ideas. Keep up the good work!
As is usual on this platform, I’ll leave my review as the author to address doubts and answer your questions.1. I want to make it clear that there will be no NTR, Yuri, R#pe, or anything similar.2. The harem will not be a Pokédex. Relationships will develop naturally, and all the female protagonists will remain important throughout the entire story (generic harems suck).3. On that note, the harem won’t be enormous, as it would be impossible to give all the female protagonists significant roles if that were the case.4. There will be R-18 content, but much later in the story.5. English is my second language, so if you spot any errors, I’d appreciate it if you pointed them out.Feel free to ask anything; I’m here reading your comments.

Increíble tipo de novela, con una trama interesante para explorar, aunque aun no veo su tipo de habilidad, que pensaba que había un sistema, pero aun veo que mejor usa su inteligencia.pdt:actualiza seguido
Very good novel as usual from this author. Sadly he is also known to drop his novels suddenly for no particular reasons. Maybe it wont happen for this one ? I dont have much hope but who knows...
Love the story I’ve been waiting for new chapters but it’s reall good I recommend reading
I only made it 1 1/2 chapters. I really wanted to be able to go further in the story because the author writes well. The author wrote an MC that ended his existence due to his own poor choices. The MC is not deserving of the gift of a system and a regression. The MC gave up. If you can get past the MC giving up on everything due to their own personality then read on! If I could make one recommendation to the author, I would say make your moopy, depressed character chose to live and not take that final step, but then by a cosmic twist of fate they slip and fall to the “void”. The second chapter is so jarring for a person that just made that choice to be saying “awesome, I love you”
