Dear author, I've fallen in love with Mason...️......️...
The main character just frustrates me. She’s weak—and she knows this—yet she causes trouble wherever she goes.
I’ve read up to the part where she needs the three treasures that support the Human Realm, Heavenly Realm, and Demon Realm to revive Bo Xuan. She knows she’s not strong and that there’s no way for her to accomplish this, yet she’s planning to get them. Doesn’t she realize that it will end up with Feng Ran, Qing Mu, and her father having to support her?
I just don’t understand how someone can be so ignorant and not think things through. She only realizes the consequences when someone close to her gets hurt. At that point, she laments about how powerless she is.
Maybe there will be some character development in the future, but right now, I don’t think it’s worth the effort of translating it.
The only reason I gave it at least one star is because of the main character (MC) and the overall storyline. I genuinely enjoyed how the story unfolded and the MC’s strong character, except when he’s with the male lead (ML). It feels like he completely drops his guard in a way that seems strange and concerning to me. As for the ML, that guy is so manipulative that I wanted to slap him. I don’t understand how others and the MC think he loves him so much. Sure, he *might* love him, but to me, he just seems obsessed. His so-called care and worry for the MC felt fake and hypocritical.
To be honest, I’ve read my fair share of noncon stories, but in my entire life, I’ve never seen such gaslighting, manipulation, emotional abuse, and hypocrisy from an ML. He’s so fake because he’s always saying sweet things to the MC, talking about how much he worries and loves him... but he never really asks for the MC’s opinion on their relationship or his consent. He doesn’t stop when the MC is literally begging and crying for him to stop, and even falls unconscious. I hated that so much! The MC was a crying mess and had a complete breakdown, but that MF ML didn’t stop just because the MC refused to tell him something. There’s something called privacy, even in a relationship. No one has the right to invade that, so don’t force him just because he refused to tell you something. Stop making excuses like you’re “worried” about him—you hypocrite. You’re clearly not worried; you just want to control the MC. If you really cared, you would have asked him gently, giving him space and a safe environment. But no, you just made the MC feel guilty by gaslighting him for keeping his privacy. That’s f*cking terrible, you MF!
And even though the MC was so strong, stronger than the ML, why the hell didn’t he do anything physically to stop him from forcing him? Just stand up for yourself! No matter how you look at it, this so-called "loving relationship" is f*ckING ABUSIVE. F*ck that ML, I hope your d*ck rots and falls off!
If you're going to insult my taste, at least do it correctly. What's with this zero effort, negative IQ insults?
Look my freakin pfp, look at my username. And then you come up with a "Chinese" dialogue for an insult?
Also, snow girl nano-mancer? I can see why my review p*ss*d you off
True I'm excited to see. This work by this writer seems pretty good, can't wait to see what else comes.
I am deeply grateful to the translators for their hard work in bringing this to English. Your efforts are truly appreciated ??. Some readers' comments have made me chuckle – the protagonist spent most of her life in the hospital, interacting mainly with family, healthcare staff, and fellow patients. It's unrealistic to expect her to have the same experiences as other novel protagonists.
The system's attitude isn't misogynistic; rather, it perceives her as inexperienced, which is typical for beginners. Statistically, women, particularly those under 40, might be more emotionally vulnerable due to hormonal fluctuations, making them more susceptible to manipulation. The system doesn't disdain women for their gender but for their perceived weaknesses, like kindness, emotions, and dependence, which it sees as liabilities compared to men.
She gained knowledge of 'real' life through books and TV, which often present a more logical perspective than reality, as anthropologists would confirm. This makes her more rational, even bordering on detached, especially when it comes to relationships. In her view, entertainment revolves around love, but it should bring joy, not necessitate sacrifices when the potential benefits aren't worth the loss. She looks down on those who become overly invested in others.
The character development in this novel is grounded in realism, resulting in a slower pace compared to other stories. Initially, the protagonist displays misandry, causing me to consider dropping the book several times. But thankfully, she evolves throughout the narrative.
In summary, the translation captures the essence of the original text while maintaining its integrity in English. Thank you once again for your contribution! ??
This is a hidden gem ..the world building is amazing or should I say ridiculous...from the summery it may sound like a regular cliche novel with regressor but it's not cuz there are so many hidden things that mc didn't know about in his previous life which makes his second life exciting as well as mysterious...or sometimes even frustrating cus there are so many questions that are unanswered... if you read till first 30 or so chapters you will be easily hooked..and the plot twists are also amazing..it happens when you least expect it ...I m at now 330 and the plot just keep thickens..
I'm sad bc theres no update. I don't wanna go to webnovel tho...
The author's written to 395 on WebNovel. It's just been so long since he wrote them that they've gone out of the privileged chapters lock and can now be pirated.
The only reason it's releasing slow is so this website has higher viewer retention.
Unfortunately, the author hasn't written anything for a year, though I hope he'll come back.
Most definitely...
In my eyes, nothing can justify Mo Hong Zhang. He behaves just disgusting towards Ye Zhen. I was waiting for Ye Zhen to break Mo Rongzhan's old cucumber. I hope that the heroine will take revenge and not fall in love with the idiot emperor anymore. ?
While reading this ranobe, my hatred for Lu Wushuang remained unchanged. But Lu Lingzhi began to gradually improve my opinion of him
yes, i'm sure she is one of the yandere's. it was mentioned in the beginning chaps that she was the one who sent the wood from the world tree for MC's bat.
Also,
since you seem to be ahead of me, can u tell me around which chapter does the MC meets his daughter(it's the part after he runs away from the princess)
