The story is pretty good with the MC going around catching pets, like in Pokémon Go, but with the twist that some pets have unique abilities. Would recommend.
A really good read. I was instantly transfixed in the story and felt the author's passion and commitment in the novel.The writing quality is near perfect. I only noticed minor grammatical mistakes in the early chapters, which I'm sure have been fixed as time has gone on. The language that is used is vivid and bright, leaving strong images in my mind. It's perfect for a webcomic adaption.Story development is great. I never felt like it had dragged on or had gone too fast. I was able to follow along very well, not feeling my attention be pulled away by anything else.Character design, while borrowing from some tropes, is very solid. Fully original characters are practically impossible nowadays, but the author does very good in making the MC feel unique. I felt invested in his story and was curious to see where it went.The world background is superb. I saw so many uses of descriptions that I would love to use in my own story. While it also borrowed from tropes, it felt far more original than many other stories I have read which have the same setting.Overall, a 4.6 in a very good story. I will be adding this to my collection and I am looking forward to future chapters. Good job, author.Happy writing.
Holy crap this is good, so good that it keeps the end of my hair stand up. The author really tries to draw you in, like you were actually inside the novel. The tingling sensation I have every night when I read this book is amazing, it is like you were actually watching it, it is so descriptive that in my imagination it's like a run through of everything coming in and out. The story starts of with him being alone and owning a haunted house when his parents disappeared, not really a spoiler when it's in the description. He suddenly realise that there was a black phone in the third floor of his haunted house. This black phone connected to his parents disappearence and also he can now do things to the haunted house like moving floors adding tools with the phone. He was also speculating how this works but was caught up when it gave him mission to leading his journey of finding his parents and building haunted house. It's so good I recommend ppl to read this because if you like thriller and horror and also read it at night, it gives you more tingling feeling in your body like there is someone with you?
When I started reading this, I really enjoyed myself, but as time has gone on I realize that there is never any satisfying closure to any conflict. Yerode and Lumine, the first ‘true’ antagonists of the story who are introduced around chapter 100 are both STILL ALIVE and causing problems in chapter 670+. This is a pattern that occurs with just about every major antagonist and it is incredibly annoying.Especially when the female main character, Ruby, is one of those antagonists. The author absolutely refuses to let the main character act reasonably when she’s involved. Oh she tortured him to death? No problem, he’ll rescue her next time regardless just because the ‘Oracle’ offered to throw him a couple good boy points for it. Ridiculous.She’s been nothing but an annoying return villain since he met her, and I frankly have no desire to see the continued forced romance there.No matter how strong Jake gets, or how high his Ordeal scores are, it never matters because magically all of his peers end up stronger than him despite that. It’s been 500 chapters and Jake is still getting thrashed by the same people as he was at the start.
