At the time of my review, this story was a candidate for publication.“Was” is the word, because this book is languishing in what I call “trial hell.” It is good enough to gain fans (like yours truly) but not good enough for Webnovel to spend money to translate and publish.So let’s analyze this story that pushed me to review it even if it is only 60 chapters!The translation is good, not great. It contains the usual errors that you see in all translated novels from Webnovel. The updating was excellent; after all, they released all 60 chapters together! LolThe world, from the little bit that has been revealed, is the typical Xanxia world.What attracted me was the MC. He had in interesting origin story, in both worlds. And the author did go out of his way to make them interesting and contrasting to each other. Not to mention the humour he was able to inject while he killed the main characters, making the gruesome scenes like macabre!And the MC is not an idiot, nor an emotionless scumbag like so many MCs on Webnovel. The MC fought hard, and endured humiliation while keeping his eyes on his goal: Revenge! And the author wrote the MC in such a way as the MC can be sympathetic to me. Redeeming the MC’s actions.There is a bit of romance, but the story at this time is focused on hilariously getting revenge. And since the MC is a pretty smart guy, he outplays his opponents, while making the opponents think they won just before the MC pulled the rug under them. Each revenge plot is different and interesting! Making you crave for the next plot.And that is unfortunate, because this book was never picked up. Leaving readers like myself wondering about the MC’s future plots... Hopefully, Webnovel might pick up this novel for publication in the future. Because these first 60 chapters are pretty fun and this book has a lot of potential!

If you are a new reader, please come read this review before reading the story.On webnovel, I have read countless stories in which cultivators are described as all knowing, all powerful God like beings but I always wondered one thing.How can they know everything and remember it. Perhaps the author had created a world in which cultivators could remember everything but my world is different.Sure advanced cultivators are arrogant and all that but I took a different approach. I created the world in such a way that no one knows everything.Other than that, The main girls in the story have various reason for cultivating with the MC and they don't do it just because his handsome (though it definitely affects their overall choice ?)Other than that, Don expect the MC to be over the top brilliant just because he is a ten thousand year old cultivator. He is smart and ruthless and is overpowered (so no young master can mock him cause I am tired of that.)Other than that, the story is fast paced and I slowly bring the world and character information as the chapters progress. You may not find much information on the world or enough character interactions in the first 50 chapters but it gets better after that.At last, I have to say that I can definitely improve and for that reason, I will not give myself five stars. Remember, this novel is not made for everyone.PS: If you read this entire review, you are a dedicated reader.

Im hating qidian guys ? i wish that they stop translating this novel here (i know you think im an idiot) ? but reading here in qidian is very annoying you need stones just to read a novel ? can they just put ads like videos and to watch before eeading the chapter why spirit stones ?
Honestly, the story is so contrived and boring. God damn, this is one of the hardest reads I've ever encountered. Where has the quality of novels gone. Beginning was just so generic; and I don't even dislike generic themes, as long as it's done right. This was not done right, and I'm speculating it never will. I'm not gonna fault the translator without knowing the source material, because as I said; it is hard to read. Seems to be stable updates, good work on 100 chapter initial release; dedication dude (Don't know if this was translated on other site, but ah well). Whatever, continue the project and see where it takes you. Maybe the novel undergoes some sorta genesis and goes god level.
what did i just read? there was no system no cultivation no monsters no time travel or traveling to a different world and it was good. not normal good but good to the point i wonder if webnovel had a little accident and put it up by mistake. after the last few options, they gave us it feels unnatural for it to be this good.
