To begin with, I can comprehend why a negative review might be given if one only reads the initial 20 chapters. True, our main character starts off as an easy target. The pace of character growth and plot progression might initially seem sluggish, and there are certainly clichéd harem elements present. At this stage, around ten or so female characters are vying for his attention. Admittedly, I'd probably rate the first 30 chapters 2-3 stars myself. However, the story picks up steam from there, and the plot becomes increasingly engaging. As for the revenge aspect, don't worry; it's not forgotten. It's just a matter of our protagonist preparing and strategizing before taking action.
Although the narrative pace may appear leisurely, it has a light and uncluttered feel. The main character is overpowered in a subtle way, and the romantic elements appear organic and not forced. The concept of multiple planets as a setting is particularly captivating.
The author in this web novel deliberately places the protagonist in absurd and unjust situations, subjecting them to constant torment without a valid reason other than a flimsy justification. The narrative heavily exaggerates these hardships, turning the main character into a punching bag for characters to play with over a ten-chapter stretch. The treatment of the MC is truly distressing, as the author relentlessly exploits different methods to mistreat them, followed by an influx of female characters. The pacing of the story lacks finesse, and the plot developments pale in comparison to other works.
In general, I would advise against reading this novel unless one can stomach the initial 15 chapters or so. The experience may not be enjoyable for those seeking a more balanced or engaging narrative.
