The black wolf experienced a flash of pain causing it to howl out. After a short moment the energy left the body of the black wolf and went back to Haruki. In just a matter of a few seconds Haruki feelings towards the little wolf became deep he felt as if the little wolf was as close as family. All of this happened within a split second, Ayumu didn't notice it at all because he had his own problems to deal with.
