Full of repeated plot lines. I don’t care which book came first or second. But I see that there are shït tonne of repeated plot lines. What do u expect a immortal cultivator who has immortal body to do in modern world? Even if they self imposed to not steal or resort to criminal activities, there are lot of ways. But, it’s China, so strut ur stuff in front of old acquaintance or exes, go to the antique shop, have something to do with makeup, oh and find a rich family to cure them of something....I bet there will be stone gambling too.
Things I like: MC is not a teenager or young adult that looses his shít next second a 2D side character comes. And love the daughter character.
Author did a good job of padding with words.
Pretty dang good. The RL prologue introducing the character and why he ends up playing the game is brief but believable, its refreshing to see neither the lazy cliche "Everyone has enough disposable income to spend every day playing a game" nor filler chapters dedicated to RL just to make the story "realistic".
Character developments good so far too, slow in a good way, where we are told an appropriate amount of information about a character for how long the MC has known them (there's no "you saved my life so here's my entire life history and also my unending loyalty). Not to say the MC doesn't quickly form relationships(in a way that fits his character/personality), but so far everything has been progressing naturally.
The only criticisms I have are not knowing much about the MC's history, but I'm only on chp 14 so it could still be coming, or it might be more of a gradual reveal, either way I'd like to know just a bit more early on. Also, the world is large, and location names are kinda hard to keep track of.
If anyone is thrown by other reviews complaining about the sex, know it isn't really described explicitly(so far I've only seen 1 short instance describing the sex, 95% of the time its "they kissed and went to the bedroom", end paragraph, then "After an enjoyable night MC woke up" and its right back to the story). Also wouldn't describe it as "harem", he's not collecting girls for his adventuring party or anything, it's more like he's a warm, passionate guy(see fire affinity), and having casual sex in a no-risk virtual world fits his and others characters.
The King's Avatar was a part of my day I really looked forward to. With the main series ending, I'm sure it left everyone gloomy. Every good thing ends. That's what makes it previous. Really looking forward to this prequel though! So excited xD

the sentence that make 3rd person view is really awkward becaus I don't know if the mc or the narrator is speaking or thinking I find it difficult to me read that all and I full support of this novel and author too
It's interesting. Zombie did not turn out to mean quite what I thought it meant. It checks boxes on many genres, including apocalyptic, reincarnation, and cultivation.
Apart from the occasional small grammatical error, the writing is easy to follow, although the style is a bit narrative for me. The writer is very consistent so far!

The MC is very stupid, being the Heir to the God of death but doesn't train in any of Death's ability even though Death gave him advice on how to become stronger. He then goes and waste time raising a baby instead of training. So he wasn't able to save his hometown from getting destroyed and ends up dead and turned into stone by the princess. Story would have gone better if he went and trained with the God of Death after he died from the princess curse then return.
