Quite interesting. There's already enough world building in the first 2 chapters that you could already get the feel of the world view of the characters. Also the concept of Qi being discovered through a mutation is interesting. Qi has always been a concept that is capable of destroying worlds in various novels, and yet Qi in this novel seems like it's just a means to make life easier and live longer. Already a novel with great potential.
If you've nothing better to do you could give it a read but don't expect a well written story.The MC is OP to the point that nothing matters. The story basically consists of the MC just leveling up so fast that the reader will get whiplash. There is no suspense or meaning to the story. There is just the slightest hint that an actual story might be in this novel in the 20th chapter but I don't know if that'll hold true or is just an accident on the authors part. The world, system, and other characters could be interesting if the author took the time to actually think about them but they are glossed over for the most part.

Writing quality is very good, very minor spelling mistakes(gendered words sometimes mismatched, couple words are missing a letter or have a wrong letter turning it into another word) overall you wouldn't really notice the mistakes and generally won't be missing any information due to the mistakes. There are some noticeably cringe moments in the book but overall, it doesn't make the book worse.The story development is excellent. The author puts a lot of effort into the story and how it develops. The story lacks much of the info dumps commonly seen in the Vr gaming genre as the story takes more of a wait-and-see approach in understanding how the world works. The story develops outside the Vr world and the author creates a unique world that is not earth to help the reader suspend their disbelief and avoid large info dumps.Overall the story so far is very good and interesting and doesn't feel like a bore to read. The story is still very early in its development but still has interesting plot points that engage the reader. For fans of the Vr genre, this is a treat that is different than other Vr genre books with how there is a real story outside the game and how the main character isn't overpowered or super serious about the game.

I would not suggest this LN. It's the card board cut out of all the old school popular LN's and anime.MC transmigrates into a new body. Everything that happens in the LN contradicts each other after 5 or so chapters due to forced Plot armor.MC loves to talk about luck this, luck that.MC is greedy. Causing his mum to die due to his greed.MC has weird agro. Original body of MC looked at a girl. And the main villain decided to kill him. Basically expect that kind of logic for every villain in the story.MC insults everyone and anyone.Typical meathead LN that is ****ty.
I have to praise the sensory writing in this passage because it's genuinely cinematic. The ruined Mountain God Temple isn't just described—it's experienced. "The wooden doors had long since rotted away, leaving only an empty doorway." "Spider webs larger than washbasins hung in the corners, swaying as if they could fall at any moment." "Half of the clay Mountain God statue had collapsed." And then the rats. Fat rats that squeak and dart past their feet the moment they step inside. But what really sells this scene is the smell. "A wave of damp, moldy stench rushed toward me." The dust making Lin Wan cough. The cold wind slicing through every direction because the roof is missing tiles. This isn't a romanticized poverty setting—this is the real, visceral experience of homelessness in a world without safety nets. The author doesn't flinch from showing how cold and uncomfortable and dangerous this is. And yet, there's something almost sacred about this space too. A Mountain God temple—abandoned, half-collapsed, covered in bird droppings—becomes the first home Lin Wan and her brother choose for themselves. The irony is thick enough to cut with a knife (which, fittingly, is exactly what Lin Wan was using moments before). The god of the mountain has abandoned its shrine, and now two abandoned humans have found it. The visual of sunlight filtering through broken roof beams, illuminating dust particles in the air, is such a specific, vivid image. It's the kind of detail that makes you feel like you're standing in that room with them. The author understands that worldbuilding isn't about exposition dumps—it's about making every sensory detail count, and this passage is a masterclass in that approach.

"Realistic Naruto" huh ?When I read this title, Dream To Immortality(A Naruto Fanfic) came to my mind, it was a really realistic series which involved serious manipulation and mind-rape.I hoped I could have the same feeling here, it just isn't the same.

Editor review. Another novel from Lonelytree and me, and this one is one of my favourites. The plot and premise are unique, the novel can be really funny at times, and there are genuinely scary moments (especially if you're alone at night ?). I highly recommend giving this novel a try ?
