"Grandpa, I haven't even given you a good life yet, how could you leave? You've gone, what am I to do? From now on… what am I supposed to do?" WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO. He was alone now. Just three words. But those three words carry the weight of an entire childhood, an entire life of relying on one person who is now gone. The text says "This grandfather and grandson had once had only each other to lean on, and now, with one of them gone without the slightest warning, how could the one left behind bear it?" How COULD he bear it? He doesn't. He holds that body—already unrecognizable, already half-eaten by ants—and weeps the whole night through. And then the narrative jumps forward and we learn that for eleven years, every single year, he comes back. Buys bricks. Hauls them up the mountain himself. Because his grandfather never got a good life, so he deserves a good afterlife. This isn't duty. This isn't obligation. This is love so deep it becomes ritual. The scene where he drives through the night just to make it back in time for Qingming, afraid of traffic on the third day—that's not just filial piety. That's a man who knows exactly how fragile life is because he lost the one person who mattered most. And he's not going to miss it again. I'm still not over it. The emotional precision here is just incredible. The author doesn't melodrama their way in; they let the facts do the work. Five days apart. The old man was fine. Now he's gone.
The switch in POV’s was a tad confusing, but other than that it was a good readIt got better in every new chapter PS— The elevator story is the best one yet
This review is focused on the free chapters of the novel. I do like the story a lot. The verse is very strong but the underlying story seems to more of mc progress to become the best harem protagonist ever. So yes i do assume that later on this will have a lot of pokemon collection since him gaining more wives and complete love routes give him more Lore Abilities which are basically cheats. Lore abilities are like Development skills from danmachi which you have a random chance of gaining with level up after your excella stuff gets filled with feats. This novel also have that type of system to grow.Mc is a 5 year old child atm so don't expect any smut for a long while. Its looking like a novel that would focus more of slow life aspect that power fantasy.A little bit about the verse.. how should i say, this is a broken verse which takes inspiration from Theology of biblical God and probably more. i am not well versed in this aspect, but since there is a being that completely is like God/Allah and or Tirumati of Hinduism ig. you will know when you read about Losdeus and how he is described in the story. With just this entity alone and how Kalpanas world was describe, it doesn't take a genius to see how absolutely broken of a verse this author has made. and its not even like those other powerfantasy type of novesl which create realms and relams and ridiculous numbers being thrown at you to make it sound op. As the mc is a child, a lot of interaction he has with the clear love interests to have that child monoton. Mc is an isekai protag so, ig he is similar to Rudy in this department.Overall if you are fine with big harem as the main premise and plot, give this a try.
This novel is pretty good and i like it.But come on bro, cut down on the damn politics, this is a business and investment novel. The beginning chapter of this novel is very good with a bit of slice of life drama and politics but eventually it focuses on the business and investments made by the MC.But now? Even 3-4 chapters will only focus on conflict and politics rather than business and investment.At least reduce conflict and political content and increase business and investment content. Or if not, just change the title of the novel, maybe it will be "I Will start business and Investment but the rich people don't want to see me success"
This book is really good! I've only read the the first few chapters, but I can already tell it's off to a really strong start!The way the book handles information is really good, as it's not too infodumpy.
