My initial impression of the story was positive, but as I delved deeper, I couldn't help but feel that the author seems to lack firsthand experience with childhood. The portrayal of an 8-year-old being逼迫午睡 or speaking in a manner more稚嫩 than a 3-year-old struck me as unrealistic.
Additionally, I hope the author didn't base their knowledge on fish care, particularly with goldfish. These creatures need adequate space in larger tanks, which a 3-year-old certainly couldn't manage. I'll overlook the inaccuracies regarding fish for now, since my personal experience with them is outdated, but it's clear that proper care is essential for pet fish.
The story itself is average, characterized by a slow, clichéd romance. However, I appreciate the ML's (male lead) character, especially his interactions with Dudu. The reason I continue reading is curiosity about how the ML will pursue the FL (female lead) and the anticipated happy ending. Like other stories with this trope, I hope for a twist where both characters are from different timelines and had feelings for each other before.
So far, I rate it 3.5 out of 5, but my dedication to the story means I'll give it a full 4, even if it takes many more chapters to reach its conclusion.
