damn 1900+ chapter n almost 1800 of it all locked... new reader should just skip it~ droped it even before reading 1st chapter
The concept is not bad but it basically gets thrown out the window within 20 chapters to focus in on common tropes of cleaning up trash and young masters. Women all fall in love with him within the page their introduced. Also the main character is a hypocrite for he tells his *students* to control themselves because they might kill someone, while he'll attack the whole families of those who mess with him. Ten out of ten wouldn't read again.
Good story ?‐-----------------‐-----------------------‐-----------------‐-----------------------‐-----------------‐-----------------------
IT IS A VERY NICE NOVEL THANKS TO THE AUTHOR TANG JIA SAN FOR WRITING SUCH WONDERFUL NOVEL. I HOPE NEXT NOVEL WOULD BE EVEN MORE AMAZING. I BECAME HUGE FAN OF SOUL WORLD UNIVERSE.THANK YOU
ok was I the only one who expected mechas here?by mechs this story is referring to androids or combat robots If you will.nevertheless this is not the reason I Jared this story.the reason is it has NO SOUL.AND THE STORY TELLING SUCKS.like the author is so bad at this, he has used the most irritating wuxia trope and magnified it a hundred times over. This story has nothing but killing, killing, and killinghundreds of random side characterseach time a villain is killed two stringer ones stand up in its place.like some sort of levelling quest.the same repetitive cycle.for the first 40 chapters.the guys seems to be moving is a different direction towards the end bit that doesn't compensate the lack of story.I know almost nothing about the main character.who he was, what are his hopes and dreams.and the most importantWHAT IS HIS MOTIVATION?WHY THE HELL IS HE FIGHTING SO HARD AND KILLING PEOPLE AROUND.no proper explanation given, the guy is like oh I was transmigrated, a face slap there another face slap here.he stands in my way kill!he looks ugly kill!he said something annoying kill!what normal person starts killing at the blink of an eye.without an even proper motivation to begin!
This work is so extremely derivative that it physically hurts me to read it. The entirety of the novel's setup and plot points are regurgitated from other sign-in novels. The only deviation from the standard is that the system has literally no characteristics beyond powering the main character up without effort; not even some token restrictions like location. The author had to go so far to make a unique system of cultivation that it isn't even coherent anymore. Substitute clan descendant for merchant descendant, branch house for monastery janitorial department, and cousin for token useless but sympathetic relative, and you've read the novel.

dang, why this novel haven't got pick up...it's difficult to find farmer story like this..i'm looking forward to read the continue chapter...
Amazing, started off a little unserious but quickly turned into one of my favourite novels. I'm worried the author has dropped it, but hopefully i'm wrong.
author... not again... when you don't post new chapters, please let me know. My heart can't handle this pressure... is everything okay? How long will it be without posting new chapters?
soooooooo...Webnovel you wanna explain to me why this is on here?I mean i was reading it on gravity tales and you picked it up at the right time.If you want to read this novel then I would recommend trying to read the book made before this: 'very pure and ambiguous'. Very pure and ambiguous the novel is (in my opinion) wayyyyy better than this crap. But if you do read this before the previous, then you will find that the author: 'fisherman' is very narcissistic and likes the harem genre troupe very much. I'm not gonna be a hypocrite and say that I hate harem, but this harem really feels half-cooked, as in the beginning of the series (1-60) The main character legit has no background and no sh**. He is weak and even at one point gets screwed over to a rape case by a rich guy who is jello. So the point is, this novel doesn't pick up till the 200s. If you have no experience in reading 2000 chaps of crap then don't read it. (I have experience from reading MGA and other crap, mostly because I'm a very S*** person myself and I have the free time)
A Martial Odyssey is written back in 2013 before Xuanhuan Cultivation becomes so popular. I know that many readers thought that they are reading a Xuanhuan Cultivation and is looking for a grading system. This is wrong. AMO isn't a Xuanhuan story btw. It is actually Xianxia (heroic swordfighting/martial arts with celestial clans). The story takes place in a typical wuxia world (ancient chinese martial sects setting) with many hints to indicate that actually this was once a xianxia world (except that the celestial clans are mostly wiped out by a heavenly disaster). Every chapter was carefully drafted to have at least 1 martial fight intentionally. It was painstaking to design and concept (laughs). The original AMO actually undergone 3 drafts (In the first draft, Celestial Fairy Shui Yixian actually dies). I've got a tendency to go into tragic until my friends and readers stopped me. The story follows Yi Ping as an interested rookie martial artist who is searching for battle experience, superior masters and super martial arts. Because in the world of wuxia, that is the only way to improve one's combat level from a third rate to a first rate fighter. Some readers complaint that Yi Ping is OP but he has never trained. (This is not cultivation xuanhuan or IET novels where every kid is shown training body strengthening skills and never train when they are grown up. This is a martial world of wuxia. Of course Yi Ping practices martial arts since young. He trains really very hard but isn't very good for obvious reasons.) *Ahem* in wuxia and xianxia, almost all the martial artists train very hard, you know to have a martial art foundation. In fact, body strengthening art is taken from wuxia martial foundation training. It is just fillers for xuanhuan cultivation to talk about. In fact Yi Ping is crazy about martial arts and fighting stronger opponents. I read comments, why Yi Ping is rushing at opponents who are stronger than him. Yes, I know when the readers say that, they are drunk on reading too much cultivation stories when the strong is strong, the weak is weak. In wuxia, it is about fighting a worthy opponent to gain strength and to learn lessons from defeats. Yi Ping had a special trait as hinted in the chapters. He has a resilient endurance and isn't afraid of pain plus he is always mentally prepared to fight. Although he isn't too smart but he will risk his life for his friends. After all, in the world of wuxia, a martial code of honor exists between friends. That's the Xia's spirit. Some readers comment: There aren't a cultivation system in the story. It is confusing because they had no idea how strong is everyone. *Laugh* Again, this is a wuxia/xianxia and not xuanhuan cultivation. Superior martial skills must be tested against the fortitude of the users. Sometimes they win, sometimes they can lose. In the second part of the story, Yi Ping through the Divine Calamity has found out that there is a celestial realm where past martial experts have ascended to be celestials. Second part is more xuanhuan. The state of divinities in AMO are used to grade the high enlightenment and low enlightenment of the celestial practitioners in their various paths. Again this is wuxia/ xianxia where experts pitted against each other with their strongest state of divinities and superior skills against each other.
