I gotta say after like ch 300 ish i forced myself to finish this book and honestly the ending was a let down not gonna lie.... but at the same time it wasnt a bad read its hard to explain i guess for me, but just know dont focus on the time line it uses as that is useless as heck... but then again i never writen a book soooo yea.... Mixed feelings on this.
If anybody has read "record of unusual creatures" then the background story of the xyrin empire is closely related to the xiling celestials before they attained godhood. which is interesting cause this makes it look like it is a prequel to what happened before record of unusual creatures. Noice.
Shameless review from the author here. This is a mix of sci-fi, superpowers and magic in a way I haven't seen before. Nice pacing, plot and character development. This is all original, which makes it even better. a 5/5.
The dialogue in this text is genuinely excellent. Each character has a completely distinct voice, and I could tell who was speaking without looking at the names. Huang Jinxiu's dialogue is pure greed and manipulation wrapped in false sweetness. 'Don't worry, once you're on the train, I'll send your packages—big quilts, snacks, money, everything. Every month, I'll send you twenty yuan. I'll even find you a good man.' She's painting this picture of a caring mother while literally trying to sell her daughter off. The contrast between her words and her intentions is delicious. Zhou Shuchen's voice is the worst kind of entitlement: 'Even though you love me endlessly, my heart belongs to Jiajiao. Fine, since you can't bear it, from now on, just think of yourself as my sister!' Who talks like this? This man genuinely believes he's doing AN RUOYAN a favor by letting her be his 'sister.' His dialogue reveals someone who has never once considered anyone else's feelings. But the line that made me laugh out loud was Zhou Shuchen's threat: 'If you break us up, I'll jump into the river.' And then he ACTUALLY does it. The dialogue sets up the joke and then delivers the punchline. It's almost comedic in how pathetic he is. Zhou's mother has the most natural, grounded dialogue. 'In the Zhou family, no unchaste girl like you will ever marry in.' Short, sharp, and absolutely final. She doesn't waste words. And An Ruoyan's dialogue is where the real transformation shows. She goes from playing the 'delicate and helpless' victim to saying things like: 'We'll talk about that later. My luggage doesn't need to be mailed after I leave.' Cool, collected, and completely uninterested in playing along with anyone's nonsense. When she asks Huang Jinxiu 'You want a beating too?' after being lectured—that's not just dialogue, that's a personality statement. The author's narrative voice is also worth mentioning. It's witty without being overbearing, and it doesn't shy away from the absurdity of the situation. Lines like 'What kind of arrogant man was this? Even without a mirror, he must think he's perfect!' show an author who's clearly on An Ruoyan's side and isn't afraid to make it known.
Its your amazing Author again, You guys must have noticed that I have changed some content and made little tweaks to the previous chapters. I have done this because the previous chapter were lacking in both quality and quantity when it came to words and plot etc.. so I had to take the bitter pill and I have been improving the previous chapters for the past 48 hours making sure there are no errors.

Its alright, not my cup of tea though. Characters do not feel real and they are often idiotic. Somethings are illogical.
I started if ficool by reading a book that was featured under new, then when I was done, I contacted the author via discord and asked when next she'd update and she told me tomorrow but she also said in the mean time I could check out a book called "in love". When she sent the link, I clicked it and began reading and...... I am IN Love with this book!
Here is the Author's biased review. At first I wanted to drop this book, since there was a lot of rejection due to the theme and setting of the book. It's a rated 18, it's harem. You know what, I'm just gonna push it and see where it goes. Hopefully with the support of readers, I can see this to the end.
