Okay so I need to talk about this dinner scene because it is genuinely one of the smartest plot moves Jolene has made since showing up in dirty clothes to her interview. Think about it—she has zero authority, zero money, zero books, and a kid who hasn't eaten properly in who-knows-how-long. And yet she turns a meal into a whole strategic operation. She doesn't just feed Emma; she stages an eating performance right in front of Ben. That's not accidental—that's calculated. And it works. Ben, this kid who refused to eat until 9 PM the night before, finally caves because his stomach betrays him. The plot here is doing something really clever: it's showing us that Jolene's survival strategy isn't about grand gestures or dramatic confrontations. It's about small, almost mundane maneuvers that accumulate into real progress. She borrows a book by offering to pay rent for it. She gets Ben to eat by letting a starving five-year-old do an eating show. Every solution is born from the constraints she's working with. That's good writing. The author isn't giving her a magic wand—she's giving her a brain and a willingness to improvise. And honestly? I love that the tension isn't just about whether she'll keep her job. It's about whether she can build something real with these two kids who have every reason not to trust her. The plot is moving slowly, deliberately, and I'm here for it.
This MC is exactly what I love—ruthless, strategic, and unstoppable!""The battle scenes are so intense! I could feel every explosion and sword clash!""Loving the morally gray decisions. It makes the story feel so real!"

An excellent novel that'll make you addict to it and it's not like the other novels of isekai When you see the main character's personality development and all the hard times he went through and will go through you are going to feel his misery Even the other characters have their own story and problems you will like them
First few chapters make me want more, I’m interested in what happens nextmore chapters pleaseeeeee!!!!!!

Shameless writer review, ✅.Hope you like my new novel like I do.Please, use this review as a Q&A.
I’ll be shameless and rate my own book 5 stars. This story is in progress so there might be some changes to the summary but I hope I can keep myself on track and not deviate too much from my original plans. This is a story about my cute Jade and how she becomes the queen of the apocalypse all while making sure to keep her brother out of harm.I’m excited for her to meet my beloved Alex and I can’t wait to write this for everyone to enjoy.
Great. But updates are to slow.

10/5 would recommend! In all seriousness though so far it is a great story. It has little to no grammatical errors and the author does give actual information on the skills the Mc currently has. At the time of writing there hasn't been much world building as of yet but it is building up a good foundation for it to be built upon. Nana-chan is a good writer and does her best to deliver quality stories to her readers and makes you feel as if you are actually watching over the characters. With that said you do feel your emotions being directed at the characters and not at the author herself.
Ok, so, basically, when the story starts he wakes up in a castle and is hatched by a girl. At the start, that was my problem. I like MCs where they are independent but he gets trapped by this girl is forced to be his familiar and the girl forces him to do things. I did not like this because it hindered his growth and also the girl was pretty annoying. Than he finally escapes. YAAA!!! But he misses her. BOOOOO!!! I mean like, you are free! Come on, grow up, forget about her! But noooooo! Instead, he finds her again and goes up to her and tells her who he is, even though he is free! That is at the point where I just dropped this, no questions asked. If you like independent MCs who do not care about anyone else like me, this novel is not for you. Even though I rated this a 3.2, my personal rating would be 0.1.(Dropped Chapter 26)
