Too good a novel. The world is developed quite good so are the characters. Fight scenes are choreographed well. All in all a memorable novel.

Great story love the concept .. definitely an amateur writer but still good. The biggest problem is translation / editing quality tanks and becomes almost unreadable after free chapters end. it's hard to follow who's doing what at times.
One of the coolest Xianxia novels I've read. It's much better the prequel Martial World. The translation is also excellent!!

Regarding this novel, here are the key things u need to know before going in -* First the pacing of the story develops is decent.* MC is decent and NOT stupid* It has a wish fulfilment vibe in the whole story(7 sisters, Money, Beautiful secretary, Powerful boduguards).* Up until about chapter 400 everything is fine, after that story goes downhill.* After about chapter 400, there will be a lot of filler content.* Author will forget about the system.

Okay so can we talk about how the villagers are literally already shipping Huo Mingqian and Ning Yuchan before anything has even happened?? The text says it straight up — those with malicious thoughts quickly found a topic for gossip. Like hello, they just walked back from the eldest branch together and you people are already writing their wedding invitations in your heads. But honestly, the real relationship drama is between the brothers. Father Huo (Huo Changsheng) and Huo Mingqian. The text drops this line that killed me: "After Huo Mingqian passed the county level examination, Father Huo did not even dare to approach him." That's not sibling distance, that's pure intimidation mixed with shame. And then Huo Mingqian reaches out first, saying "We are family" and Father Huo feels his chest go warm. I literally gasped. This man has been hurt by his own elder brother and still chooses kindness. Meanwhile the Eldest Aunt is out here calling Ning Yuchan a thief in broad daylight and I just — how are you like this. Also Taohua is my favorite character now. She refused to let Huo Mingqian pinch her cheek, called him out for not helping their family, but then took his copper coins without hesitation because "this was her own uncle, so it should be fine." That's the most realistic kid energy ever. She has boundaries AND she knows who her people are.
