Loved the writing style! The plot totally piqued my interest and my curiosity to each characters are to the skies. Just confused as to why there were some indicators/markers (it's quite unnecessary), but all-in-all, great job! Kudos to the author!!

The dialogue in this chapter is genuinely excellent. Let me just say it—each character sounds completely different, and that's not always easy to pull off. Li Big Mouth? She's loud, judgmental, and her insults come fast and loose. "Is she your precious little princess?" — you can practically hear the sneer. Zhang Cuihua's comebacks are sharp and immediate, no filter. But Shen Niao is the real standout. She doesn't just respond—she dismantles. "Auntie, if you're sick, go see a doctor. Don't randomly have a seizure every time you see someone." That line is so good it made me laugh out loud. And Director Xu? Her dialogue is measured, authoritative, every word deliberate. She doesn't raise her voice but she absolutely commands the room. The banter between Shen Niao and Zhang Cuihua also has a natural rhythm—they finish each other's thoughts, they understand each other's cues. Even the little girls have distinct voices with their thick accents. The author clearly puts thought into how each character speaks, and it makes the whole thing feel alive.

Plot, character, story timeline, and everything in this book are all confusing. If you want to be terribly annoyed, read this book. This book doesn't deserve a star.
Also, this is random. But I absolutely love Alessia Capone's character. One of the best side characters. I respect that woman so much. She has gone through so much pain, yet she's so pure hearted, righteous and full of compassion. I wish she had found true love again. She's a true Queen.
