As I started reading I got delved into the story and couldn't help but read more even though this genre was new to me, yet it left me intrigued. hats off to the author for creating such world. ?
This is my 2nd review and it's 4.8 star. This novel is "embodiment of perfection" in my POV and in chapter 36 is really unpredictable i thought his sister would really like him but turns out just a facade to hide her calculative mind. Ohh! btw i gave it a 4.8 star because of updating stability. Keep up Author-san.?
Honestly can't give a book a good review, if I have to read a sentence 3 times just to understand what the author is trying to say, author just starts using words that seem to have just been decided on the spot, that are actually words, and I have to make a decision whether it's the actual use of that word, or something random and ignore it. If he is going to do that, he needs a damn glossary at beginning. Hopefully someone working on this will give it a re-read and edit and I'd love to pick it up again, and change my review

Is everyone retarded in this review section? First of all, its not even that hard to catch the title: "Empress's gigolo" note the plural form referring to something that belongs to the empress. It is fine to not know the word Gigolo even though it is present in other languages (At least, Spanish which is my mother language) But even if you didnt get it on the title, is it that difficult to read the Synopsis? "Bootlicking the empress, Ren Baqian ascended the apex of his life" I think it is obvious the empress is not the MC. Read before commenting...
As I read this novel I get the feeling that the beginning of the story is just written down without further thinking to get it to a point where the real plot should start. There also a lot of random things which makes no sense and its confusing .This novel is a far cry to the wither's first novel.

For now it's good. Because it's not some 18+ fap material with a storyline as a background. I like that MC is not just running around and raping everyone. He is restricting himself. Writing style is good, it's easy to read. There are no info dumps. Idk about future chapters, so it's 5 stars for 30 chapters. Just don't copy chinese novels a lot, they have their own problems. And 1 chapter per day is enough. Quality over quantity. But try to make a stable schedule.
