I thought that with so many bad reviews about racism and cliches in Chinese novels they would improve over time ... although I haven't seen racism in this one, it has a lot of cliche

Writing quality - This is a 2. It's clear the author just wrote whatever nonsense that popped into his mind without reviewing it or editing. The grammar mistakes and poor sentencing structures quickly pile up leaving what has been written ineligible and hard to make sense of.
Stability of updates - This is a 1. This may be unfair but I can't be bothered to check chapter dates. However, this novel has been in my library for a while now and there's barely more chaps than what was initially available. I feel that under no circumstances would update stability reach 3 or higher.
Story development - This is a 2. The story as of C11 isn't anything special. The mc came from an orphanage then went to some sort military training thing.
Character design - This is a 1. Most characters are background mobs with no explanation to their looks and end up being described as a collective group. The few times we do get distinctive explanations it's basically just something like: that guys's a dwarf. Not only that but we've only seen the personality types of 3 people and they've very basic.
The mc is supposed to be cold and rational. He sees everyone as someone he might need to kill. However, he acts like a dumbass and is fine with staying weak even whilst considering how he might have to kill the strongest person in his group. He gets followed around by someone trying to act buddy buddy with him he initially thinks about how he wants to kill him but then out of the blue starts conversing with him as if he has accepted him as a friend.
The 2nd character (can't remember name) is basically just described as a righteous goody 2 shoes
The 3rd character (can't remember name) basically just attaches himself to the mc and we're not given any reason why.
World background - This is a 1. The background of the novel is very limited and from what I vaguely remember is kinda generic.
An MC named Monkey King is already enough to grab my attention.
However, that was not the real reason that compelled me to continue reading the next chapters.
The characters had distinct personalities and the author has also done a great job of describing the scenes.
We're just in the initial chapters and I'm already intrigued.

I must say that I have been searching for a good novel combining the Modern Day world with Cultivation, they are rare and most that I found are sub par, but this one, well it's good.PROs:- A badass MC(I had enough of MC's that are cringe and unlikable or having to wait for character development, I prefer to hear the MC's story piece by piece) Check, - Cultivation in a modern world Check, - Harem that for many will be a turnoff, but I am fine with or without so Check- Good grammar, I don't have to stop to reread to understand what happens, with mistakes like a character's name in another place, that have no effect on the overall novel.CONs:- The world building can be worked on, until now we don't know too much about the overall world also how chi made it's way in the world or if was there since the immemorial.- For people that don't like Harems, I don't think it's for you, even if it's well done.Overall: A good read.

This book is decent, The grammatical errors look non-existent and the story is starting at a good pace, The starring is quite mysterious, U think The reader who likes to read some mystery and gaming novel they would love this novelHowever, there are fewer details about the surroundings and characters
The cultrivation system in the novel isn't bad, nor is it good.The plot is repetitive and every single girl he has gotten always has him saving her from 2 gang members lol. It is like women cannot drive in the novel. The mc is not smart, but you have to always keep in mind in this "he is...". His idea's are elementary level. Legit a six grader could come up with them all. He believes he is still in his old life so he is unstoppable... but in reality his daddy who he screws over has been protecting him in secret.He has zero personality or loyalty. Truly he would stab his own mother in the back if she prevented him from screwing some random waitress. This entire novel is trash.sadly I DON'T mind this and i am currently caught up over 1000 chapters. I do not expect change or him to have character development. It is like a bad tv show that is fun to watch with nothing else to do. so check it out when you have nothing to read lol
The story is good. Other people should appreciate this more. It's a slowpace so kinda get boring sometimes. But overall everything's good so keep the good work going author.
It's not bad, a bit annoying on the face slapping parts, MC says stuff people disagree and laugh at him then proves them wrong but so far better than other novels we've been getting lately
