Please stop using resistance as a stat. Resistance is something you overcome using stamina. It's a great story but every time I see that I want to pound my head against the wall in frustration.
the story starts off quite well. i hope the other people besides main and side characters will have more "color" as they seem bland and well they don't even have names. the main character is also very bland. we only know his name and background. we don't know how tall he is, what is the color of his hair or eyes or what kind of face structure he has. the background of the world seems interesting and i hope there will be chapter to explain more how the universe and galaxies are structured and how they are connected to the other realms/plains. the only really bad and annoying part of the novel is that the writing quality is bad and the writer isn't consistent with the story. in the realm where the mc fights the insects he somehow had a wooden spear. there was no explanation how he got it and next he found a blade from a dead guy. first he calls it "long knife" and then he calls it "long blade" the spirit of the mc is spear type and i hoped he could've just used the wooden spear, of course i understand that a blade made of metal is stronger but he had no idea how to fight with blade and he had instincts from his past life to help him fight with spear so the change of weapon didn't make much sense.
So, first of all, if you even want to start reading this, it's going to be very helpful that you understand on how to play League of Legends (LoL). Because the whole story is about the MC becoming a Worlds winner, it contains lots of scenes of MC playing LoL, and if you don't play LoL, it may be hard to understand what's exactly going on in the story. For example, if I told you Blitzcrank hooked Jarvan during his E-Q combo into turret range, (which you'll see later) I'm thinking some of you wont understand. Thankfully, this novel has pretty smooth descriptions about what's going on in the game. Who knows, maybe you'll start to playing LoL after reading this, especially when the actual Worlds is happening right now. To all readers, good luck and have fun.
just like you said I checked out your novel and I have to say it is interesting. I will sure read it. as for the ratings I will change them in the future. but this novel is not showing in your profile.
I was really liking the story but I gets downhill very fast after chapter 40. Around chapter 70, author added a forced "face slapping scene" of 5 chapter long. Like why? The most interesting part of the story is the origin expanse. But Author is spending less time on it.
Early in the development yet much better then 99,9% of the novels in here. Would recommend to anyone who likes the related tags of ‘game world’, ‘adventure’ and the others. Characters are individuals and not lifeless bag of filling. Writing quality is great and the story is far from the cliches past the first two chapters.
I can not wait for this to be released in full this book would not let me leave till I read every chapter available please let this one release already
The very first thing that I noticed when I started to read this were the many grammatical errors. Normally if it's just a few, I wouldn't mind. However, there are enough errors that I had a hard time staying focused on the story itself. The grammar could use quite a bit of improvement. With that said... I do like the Author's creativity with the story. It's definitely something I'm not used to reading, but I would still encourage new readers to give the story a shot.
Initial Impressions~ The novel starts off with a short flashback in the form of a dream where he was once a professional "CSGO" player in the finals of a major competition. The noteworthy point of the flashback is the "black-mask" he wears during the competition with his identity hidden from others similar to the actions of a professional Hearthstone player/streamer named "DisguiseToast". The "black-mask" can be seen from the cover art of the novel. The world is made to be as realistic as possible although not sure if that is going to change in the later chapters. The main character is equipped with a higher level of gaming skills (maybe overpowered) where he acquired but have to quit from a game in the past due to some reason. I do get a "King's Avatar" Vibe from this starting point. However, the MC personality wise is more of a lesser-jerk who have a sister-complex and may potentially be interested in little girls. Basically, his relationship with his younger stepsister turn sour when he mistreated her early on so he tries to mend the relationship in an invasive manner. The author probably wrote a flawed MC so that he can be corrected in future development and the MC is not all that terrible in attitude to make you despise him. The character development in the novel is well done because we can fully imagine how the appearance of the MC looks like and his traits. Moreover, the side characters does have a brief colorful description of themselves so their interactions with the MC will be more realistic. The author really focuses his attention on the character development. The author would throw-in frequent Japanese terms/culture in the story such as loli, anime and oni-chan as well as plenty of swearing in the MC's monologue. The novel do not use the "stuck in virtual game" or the "I have a problem so I need the game to earn money solo" trope so there would be a heavy mix of real lifestyle and gaming on PC with other real players commenting from the sidelines instead. The novel is highly immersive in the world of "PUBG" and it is advisable you know the game mechanics beforehand like the type of guns and landing phase to fully enjoy the action. The author have written in the way that stay true to how a "PUBG" match is played and the novel would likely be the 'truest' gaming novel here in QIDIAN. Translators does have a good reputation of providing high quality reads while conveying the wordplay/quotes/references the author utilize.Overall, I recommend you give the novel a try unless you dislike novels that focus on one match for too long or the slower story development due to heavy emphasis on the character.
The prequel to one of, scratch that, THE best Novel here on Webnovel and maybe the best Game-centered Novel in existence!!!!!In the prequel you follow not only TKA´s MC, Ye Xiu, but also Fan- favorite´s like Sun Zheping, Zhang Jiale, Wei Chen, Han Wenqing and, last but not least, Su Muqiu! T-TIf these names don´t tell you anything, no problem! The King´s Avatar is available here on Webnovel and with its 1728 chapters you will have enough to read to last for a while!
Is this not just a copy of another book?............................................................................................................
Too much focus on douchy luxury foods in the beginning.Translator writing style sounds really stilted and unnatural.Story is sci-fi, but not as good as Doulou Dalu or Child of LightOverall one of the more forgettable novels I've read.
