Ryan, I'm crazy for him and want to read more about him never been obsessed with a fictional character this much but this book got me. I really loved the concept as it's something new to read about. although Jenny seems like good character I still need more chapters to reed to feel connect with her.

Can we talk about how natural the dialogue feels in these chapters? Like, zero pretension, zero 'literary' stiffness. These people sound like actual humans talking to each other. Qing Yanshen: 'Drink slowly, take small sips. Don't swallow too fast.' That's it. That's the whole line. But it's perfect because it's exactly what someone would say when feeding a sick person. No drama, no grand declaration—just practical care wrapped in words. And then the money scene. Jiang Qingmi hands him five thousand yuan and he's like, 'How about this. Since I eat at your place, we'll treat the three thousand as my meal expenses.' She says it's too much for meals and he hits her with: 'It's not for one month. It's for two months.' The man is negotiating his way into staying longer and I am HERE for it. He's using financial logic to extend his presence, and it's both heartbreaking and hilarious. Tuantuan's dialogue is another level. 'Mommy, don't get sick.' 'When mommy is sick, Tuantuan is not happy.' 'Hmph, no one… can make me feel better.' This child has more emotional range than most adult characters in fiction. Her voice is distinct, immediate, and utterly convincing. The author clearly understands how children actually speak and doesn't dumb it down or make it cutesy. It's just real. And that's why these chapters hit so hard.
Absolutely loved this book! Loved that it took place in the game. Raelyn Karson’s writing is so descriptive you can imagine yourself in the story. Definitely recommend reading it.

I loved this book from beginning to end. Sure some things I couldn't pronounce but it really is worth the read!! Rieve and Angelina have a love story that's dark and amazing. Highly recommend
