Having watched the anime and reading the manga I finally decided to read the novels, and boy did I wish I read them sooner. They are written really well, and explain a lot of details the anime glossed over or never really explained at all. The only thing I found weird about the novels was that Lisbeth, Yui and most of Sacchi's arc were all in chapters after the clearing of the game, and not naturally woven into the story. However, each of their characters is fleshed out and given more emotional motivation for their actions in the novels than in the anime.
If you love reading repeated information every chapter, this story is for you! IGNs not having capitals is annoying aswell but ?u200d♂️ other than these 2 issues the story is decent
If your going to MTL, you need to have good editors. Names change from paragraph to paragraph. Nothing is consistent. There's full blown untranslated paragraphs. An entire chapter is repeated with slightly different translation. It's a mess.The sorry itself is nothing to write home about either. Constantly retconning itself; "I gained a lot of experience, and in fact I had taken a 5x experience portion too, that I made with ingredients I bought and never mentioned any of that until after it had already happened."The MC supposedly has future knowledge, but it almost never comes up after the very beginning. The MC's sister is a big concern, then ignored completely. The MC is so OP so quickly there's never any tension. The stats system doesn't get much mention, even though stats are such a big deal, and supposedly the MC is gaining extra points during level up sometimes, those are mentioned once and then never again in the preview 40 chapters.It was already a mess, then it was poorly translated on top of that.

Great story, typical novel but still very entretaining. I wish the updates would be faster but nothing you can do about that. I hate the fact that it has to be 140 characters or more to post a review. The biggest issue would be world background and character development while the world is somewhat different from the typical novels it's not that enrapting and the characters are the same as in any novel but they're a still good
This is a good book and it's pretty entertaining. I might even have given it 5 stars, if it weren't for the recent chapters.Unfortunately, around chapter 120 the translation quality goes to complete ****. It's looks just like google translate with no editing. The sentences don't make sense, and sometimes they just cut off mid word and a new paragraph starts. It's unreadable garbage at this point. Honestly, the first 100 chapters had great translations and this new translator (or whatever happened) has completely ruined it. I'll be checking back in 6 months to see if they've fixed it.
