Hello? Why are there only two books this time?
If you've read Battle Through The Heavens and want a similar experience, then Martial Universe is for you. Starting from an insignificant clan, coming across a treasure with a spirit inside who helps the MC quickly increase his cultivation, competition arc every corner, progressing from one small town to a greater region and finally at the peak of the world.Although there ARE just as many cultivation levels as BTTH, it's not as broken. The first 3/5th of the story may feel repetitive; cultivating, competition arc, treasure hunting with some plot development in between. However, the real fun starts after that. The events prior may as well be considered as a foundation for MC's character and cultivation. The latter part of the story is what's great about this novel. Much action, heart wrenching feels, and true anticipation for what's going to happen is what makes the latter part different. Another part that I personally liked was that most characters (not just MC and his group), whether from the beginning or from the middle of the story, has actual roles in the latter part of the story. If kinda feels nice when everything connects at the end. Also, there's a small cameo of Xiao Yan from BTTH at the very end of the story. (Irrelevant Spoiler: Both MCs travel to the same universe at the end.)
In my opinion, BEST novel I have ever read. Great story development and twist and turns that my you scream "NOOOOO!!!!!". The MC is a proud, intelligent and hilarious(mostly in downtime between arcs). Overall a great read and recommended for readers that are new to Wuxia style novels and those who have been in the community and haven't gave AGM a shot yet. **: I hope all Is going well for you Bluefire after the move. I wish you the best and hope you are even more successful here. I support your decision
Well I don't understand the common sense here. Give him 1 million special agents in secret? Why? According to common sense government would contact such scientist and pay him salary and all things without hiding for such target. I don't find any reason to hide things from MC. The plot doesn't make sense. All plot is doing is creating typical face slapping atmosphere for MC. Well please explain me if I am wrong.
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Really good start, story sounds more reasonable than the other face-slapping fanfics out there, and love the family tag. Very few xianxia/modern genre with family at the start.
There's nothing special about this novel, pretty seen this story lines in a lot of novels before. I don't know writers no longer term to build up new storylines.
The Smiling, Proud Wanderer is a Wuxia novel by Jin Yong (Louis Cha). It was first serialized in Hong Kong in the newspaper Ming Pao from 20 April 1967 to 12 October 1969.Alternative Names:• Laughing in the Wind• State of Divinity• The Peerless Gallant Errant• The Proud and Gallant Wanderer• Xiao Ao Jiang Hu• 笑傲江湖Translators:• Lanny Lin (Chapter 1 - 21)• HHaung (Chapter 21)• Pokit (Chapter 21 onwards)• Bliss (Chapter 30 and 31)Editor:• HHaung (Chapter 21 onwards)The reason I'm putting up this novel is so I can read it for personal use. I watched the State of Divinity (1996 TV series) and loved that show. I knew there was a Novel of it but never spent the time to look for it until now. Was reading it online but the chapters very LONG and I keep loosing track of where I left off so I came here. Reading it off Webnovel is so much easier especially since it keeps track of where you left off. Unfortunately Webnovel has a 20k word / 100k character limit for each chapter so I had no choice but to chop up the chapters into parts. For those who also want to read this feel free. I am not taking someone else's work and passing them off as my own, full credit is given to the original writer, translators and editor as listed in the descriptions, plus the content of this novel is free online in multiple sources for everyone to read. So putting this up on Webnovel is just for my own convenience sake and anyone else who wishes to read this.
I’m here again, hoping that we can have a chance to work together and we are willing to pay you for distributing your work. The conditions should be generous. If you are interested, please contact me via this email:adaren06*@*gmail.com(delete *), then I should take this opportunity to discuss it with you in details.

Very well written story and characters. only detractor from full score for me is the authors sometimes long-winded explanations of powers and when worldbuilding.
very interesting read, did not expect the very ending, nice surprise, overall well writen for me, not an expert but enjoyed the amount of details (not too much and enough to not burn chapters) with the fast pace
