Very bad, I have no idea how people are rating this 4-5 stars. - MC is a soulless sociopath, as is his father.- Side characters are not bad, unfortunately MC gets a lot of them killed for no reason and feels no guilt for it. - Very similar to WMW, in all the wrong ways. WMW might as well be borderline plagiarism of this story, except in WMW *everyone* is a sociopath, whereas here it's just the MC & dad (as of ch 20).- MC's power progression involves him watching people swing their swords, copying it with the AI chip, then eating some fruits and crap that boosts his strength but magically doesn't do anything for anyone else. A few weeks later he is the strongest person in the castle. - Basic inconsistencies all over the place. MC's dad travels 10 days to a mine, MC catches up within hours on foot. MC also magically scans his father from 13 kilometers away using AI chip, despite it repeatedly being established that the AI chip uses MC's senses to detect things. MC goes to woods to catch a bear that his father publicly killed the previous chapter. Author has absolutely no respect for consistency or fact checking. - Pseudo-waifu's all over the place approaching MC for ***. No downside to it, except MC claims he "can't have *** or it will interfere with the development of his body."- As extension of above point, MC is supposed to be from the future but is evidently completely ignorant of technology and biology. He also never once thinks about or mentions his entire past/future life, even though it's ostensibly the most interesting thing about him. It's hard to tell if the characters are just that shallow, or if MC is actually mentally handicapped.
Really the best space sci-fi novel i have read. Unique and the focus is the group involve as its humanity's survival unlike others that focuses only in the MC. This novel deserves more attention. Space exploration for survival is a very interesting plot. The world building is amazing. I wonder how the translator came up with this scientific terms and such, the author is pretty amazing too to come up with all these ideas.. really one of the best sci-fi out there...its not your common novel which is very repetitive and common! Translation quality if superb-very concise and coherent. Plot is superb. World building is very unique!! I also love how they are struggling to build the best colonial ship there is to fight off higher level space civilizations. Do try this novel. Its one of the best.

If you are looking for adventure, mystery, magic, romance, tragedy, redemption, and comedy then Stolen By The Rebel King is your book to read. ❤️Strap in for a rollercoaster of emotions as both MCs traverse through a world filled with magic, kingdoms, and fantastic beasts.You will fall in love with the character building, the elaborate world and a few spicy chapters to keep you on your toes.The only negative thing I can describe is the antagonists in the book. (But hey… that’s excellent writing when the villains get under your skin.) ?

The story was ok, writing quality though there are mistakes it doesn't cause any confusion while reading. My issues are the inconsistencies, the MC says X but then does Y cause it adds more drama, or in one quick arc he destroys three 3* mages like they are paper, and then just a couple chapters later he struggles against one 3* and a 2* mage (because these 2 were the end of the arc boss supposedly he had to struggle). I am a few behind of current, but the story has turned into rabbit hole of side stories, and with the pacing side stories seem to never end (20 chapters for a single auction that is part of a side story that off loads one of the women for awhile). One of my other issues is how fights go, as others have said MC always struggles till he has one move left then pulls it out. However the fights are all Throw attack A see what happens, throw attack B, let enemy regroup, dodge or take a hit, then throw attack C. None of the fights exhibit any coordination with his team, or ability chain attacks. It is always Someone doing one ability everyone stands and waits to see if it works before doing anything else. As a team they have so many combinations they could use, but none of them are used. Author is hinting about a Tournament Arc that MC is gung ho about, but still keeps saying he wants to stay low key... All in all the story for me just lost it's hook for me to continue and it started at the Sect Arc and has just eroded.

I've only read the first 10 chapters so I don 't really have much to say at this point.The title and system are kind of misleading. I was expecting something chtulu related or some other eldritch horror kind of thing. But it ended up being a Videogame Shop system instead.The MC is pretty much a blank slate at this point. We have been shown zero backstory, background, or motivations up to this point and he pretty much acts pretty randomly though he's kind of an asshole most of the time. The thing with the chickens was pretty cold-blooded.
