hmm I think it's quite good it's different from the other mafia novel on the app and I can say it's better than it also you should definitely read it highly recommended.
No Problem!
Sadly this is dropped. If you guys wanna read a novel who's mc is cunning and evil af read this. But beware it's incomplete. But then again I usually have a habit of stopping in between so maybe this novel is my soul mate
I thought they'd just leave this novel out to dry for the rest of eternity. But the update is real
Very out of context, his food supplies got sabotaged by his hostile entourage, his 2000 enemies were primitive, no tactics, no weapons, no armour, etc, he also had a an Magic item which made enemies intimidated and easy to lose morale and flee(he killed their leader in a decapitation strike with cavalry so that was a big blow to morale) he also had a voucher for 3 volley of 500 arrows from Tier-5 Archers so that killed 3/4 of the enemy in an instant. The systems purpose to is to literally follow cause and effect, mc is in danger from enemies? Make a quest, mc is in danger of bankruptcy? Make a quest, I don’t know what else you expect. Selling salt was important because relying on the system isn’t sustainable, he went personally because the ‘agent’ was someone he knew and could get better conditions in a contract
So, looking online this novel has over 2489 chapters, with only 1089 translated, and the translator does around 10-20 chapters a month. it's going to be like 12 years before we catch up lol.
tell me then what do your moms holes have as a purpose?
Read from the beginning, the anime adapted everything very poorly. Furthermore, the content of the anime came from the Light novel, this is the Web novel so the story should be slightly different and there may not be some characters from the Light novel.
Easy top 20 out of the 50 novels I've completely read and 200 novels I've started
whohhhhhhhh
Why brother ?
Alright, I really enjoyed the concept, especially after reading "Superstar" and "Valiant Life," as I appreciate the modern-day novels with cheat abilities or systems. However, the quality took a nosedive around chapter 400. Although the nationalism was present, it became increasingly exaggerated and turned into a sad joke. The author had American Navy SEALs making comments like, "What a fantastic nation with thousands of years of history and incredible martial arts," which was hard to swallow, especially when they criticized Americans for something irrelevant (like the Iraq War). It was cringe-worthy, to say the least.
I stopped reading at chapter 586 due to a spoiler: the main character (MC) had numerous strong female partners, including a seemingly perfect match, Ji Siying, who had even introduced herself as his girlfriend to his family. Yet, the author forced the MC into marriage with a cold, tsundere character who constantly acted like that. This hypocrisy – wanting someone but rejecting them due to pride – was unbearable for me. In chapter 584, the MC finally spoke up, expressing frustration about the constant treatment, even threatening to kill her if she didn't change her behavior. After a dramatic scene, they had sex in a conference room, and there was a shift in her character, becoming more mature and loving. She confessed her love to her best friend, who she had previously talked negatively about the MC to.
But then, just that same night, when the MC visited her house, she reverted back to her previous behavior. Her response was dismissive, "I've always been like this. If you don't like it, you can leave." That was it for me. Despite the earlier action-packed chapters and the initial appeal, the author ruined the romantic and harem aspects of the story. The MC's relationships with almost every other woman, excluding a few exceptions like Chai Zhiying (Su Li's agent), Mina (the SEAL), and Zheng Mi (the cheater), felt manipulated and unsatisfactory.
