I loved this so much! OMG I couldn’t put it down! I don’t read sports romances but this was funny & sexy & smart. 5 stars!
Okay, I need to talk about this one scene because it genuinely made me laugh out loud. Shen Simo tells Lu HuaiChuan about her first love — this online dating guy who showed up, tossed her a bank card with two million, and said 'thank you for your company, I'm getting married, don't bother me anymore.' And Lu HuaiChuan's immediate reaction? He bursts out laughing and says 'That wasn't a breakup fee — that was a salary.' And honestly? He's not wrong. This is the kind of plot detail that makes a story feel lived-in. The author didn't just give us a generic romance backstory; they gave us something weird and specific and darkly funny. It tells us everything about Shen Simo — she's naive enough to have fallen for an online relationship, but smart enough to walk away with money in her pocket. And it tells us about Lu HuaiChuan too — he's the kind of guy who can see through social scripts and call bullshit immediately. The way this scene also functions as a setup for the romantic tension later is brilliant. After she shares something vulnerable, he gets this 'dangerous glint' in his eye. The plot is quietly building something here — she's opening up, he's watching, and the reader is sitting there going 'oh no oh yes.' Then Lu HuaiLin walks in at the worst possible moment. Classic comedic timing that also raises the stakes because now there's a third person who clearly has feelings too. The plot doesn't stop — it just gets more complicated, which is exactly what good romance plotting should do.

The storyline is good but, can you please put punctuations where they are supposed to be? Only comma's and quotes but no full stops.
