TOXICSKULLGAMING
made by the same author as world's best martial artist so I have high expectations nice
The flow of the story is really good. The plot is interesting. The idea of hiring the stray pets as neighborhood watchers is brilliant. I hope this story will be picked and get published soon.
Does anyone know what led this to being dropped and if it will eventually be picked up again? Overall this novel was Amazing and a great continuation of Er Gen’s works.

Wow! Rebirth stories had always intrigue me including this. I am giving the author 5 stars for the following reasons: It's not your usual rebirth story and the author's creativity was reflected on every chapter. I especially liked the first few chapters when the ML was in the womb. Writing quality is great. No grammar errors. If there's one, it doesnt completely distract you from reading. And I noticed the author's writing was improving bit by bit. That's a plus. Updates are regular. I like the characters especially Kyle and Beatrice. It's different but very compelling. And lastly, for the author's courage in putting down those fears she had and started writing. Good job! Keep writing and let your inner thoughts be heard. ??Cheers!
so far pretty the story is interesting, the main character becomes a bit of an edgy teen after 50 or so chapters, and there's the stupid thing that every mc in these kind of novels casually knows the formula for every element in the periodic table and can imagine atoms combining to make a element while never making a mistake (which I find quit unrealistic and it takes you out of the story), the world and character building is decently interesting, there are very few grammatical mistakes, but overall a fun read
I like this story but I wish we could see quicker fight scenes or longer chapters dedicated to them but overall great story. With lots of room for development.
sold, then faced slapped(literally) damn, author, lol...Can wait to see how April survives this
Okay so let me just say this: the way Fu Ziheng handles his jealousy in this chapter is absolutely devastating and I need a minute. Like, he just watched his wife save his life, she threw herself into his arms crying, and the very next thing we get is him watching her flirt with another man and slowly crumbling inside. The author didn't even need to write a single line of internal monologue for Fu Ziheng about this. Just: "Fu Ziheng's face had turned as dark as the bottom of a frying pan." That's it. That's the whole paragraph. And it hits like a truck. But here's what really got me—the misunderstanding between them. He thought she brought him to the capital to sell his kidney. She thought she was bringing him for legitimate medical treatment. Both of them were operating from completely different realities, and the fact that the catalyst was literally a JOKE she made with her dad? I almost laughed out loud and then immediately felt terrible for Fu Ziheng because he had every reason in the world to believe the worst. He's been betrayed before. His trust has been shattered. Of course he jumped to the most catastrophic conclusion possible. And then Yang Tiehua's reaction when she realizes what happened—she doesn't get defensive or angry. She just breaks down crying and explains everything. "Brother Ziheng, I swear to heaven, I truly brought you here to treat your leg." The fact that she was genuinely trying to help him, while he was lying there convinced she was his executioner, creates this ache in your chest that I can't even describe. But the real character moment for me is at the very end. Fu Ziheng tries to leave because he feels like a burden. He reaches for the crutch and his leg gives out and he falls. And Yang Tiehua's attention immediately snaps back to him. She doesn't abandon him when he's being difficult. She doesn't walk away. She just—stays. That's the kind of relationship building that makes you actually believe these two could work, you know? Not grand declarations, just her refusing to let him fall apart alone.
Okay, so this whole cellar sequence is actually doing a LOT of narrative heavy lifting and I want to talk about why it works. On the surface, it's a straightforward supply run — Xia Longhui trades his cellar key for medicine, and Ji Heng's team escorts them. But look closer: this is where the power dynamics of the entire story get crystallized. Brother Wang tried to provoke them, got humbled, and now watches helplessly as people who were previously starving and desperate voluntarily attach themselves to Ji Heng's group. That's not just plot progression, that's worldbuilding through action. The twist I found most interesting isn't a big reveal — it's the quiet moment when Xia Longhui grabs Ji Heng's arm to warn him about a zombie dropping from above. In that single gesture, the non-ability-user family becomes useful, not just burdensome. The plot refuses to let them be dead weight, and that's a choice by the author that pays off. Also, the structure here is clever: we go from a barbecue feast (abundance, safety) → to the sick child (vulnerability, stakes) → to the cellar journey (danger, action). Each beat raises the tension while simultaneously showing how different Ji Heng's world is from everyone else's. The plot doesn't just move forward — it expands outward, pulling new characters and new locations into the fold. But here's my question: is the cellar itself going to be a trap? Xia Longhui mentioned others tried and didn't return. That detail feels planted, not incidental. What's waiting down there?
I love the introduction...Such a great piece
