The mystery tag is not for show, nothing is truly explicitly explained and the reader is left to draw his/her own conclusions based on the clues given. It is the opposite of those cultivation novels where they dump a wall of info at the start. Suffice to say that the build-up is slow but steady, and the writing makes it worthwhile.Not to give too many spoilers but you have a main heroine who behaves entirely different after a suicide attempt, causing those who know her to be in awe and surprise. The heroine has limited resources, but has a sharp mind (and tongue) and to see her overturn expectations is worth reading.
Very bad, I have no idea how people are rating this 4-5 stars.- MC is a soulless sociopath, as is his father.- Side characters are not bad, unfortunately MC gets a lot of them killed for no reason and feels no guilt for it.- Very similar to WMW, in all the wrong ways. WMW might as well be borderline plagiarism of this story, except in WMW *everyone* is a sociopath, whereas here it's just the MC & dad (as of ch 20).- MC's power progression involves him watching people swing their swords, copying it with the AI chip, then eating some fruits and crap that boosts his strength but magically doesn't do anything for anyone else. A few weeks later he is the strongest person in the castle.- Basic inconsistencies all over the place. MC's dad travels 10 days to a mine, MC catches up within hours on foot. MC also magically scans his father from 13 kilometers away using AI chip, despite it repeatedly being established that the AI chip uses MC's senses to detect things. MC goes to woods to catch a bear that his father publicly killed the previous chapter. Author has absolutely no respect for consistency or fact checking.- Pseudo-waifu's all over the place approaching MC for ***. No downside to it, except MC claims he "can't have *** or it will interfere with the development of his body."- As extension of above point, MC is supposed to be from the future but is evidently completely ignorant of technology and biology. He also never once thinks about or mentions his entire past/future life, even though it's ostensibly the most interesting thing about him. It's hard to tell if the characters are just that shallow, or if MC is actually mentally handicapped.

I didn't like to talk and didn't get along with other children of my age. She accompanied me everywhere, taught me discipline, and corrected my behavior. Then she passed away. I was always thinking of you when found some spare time and made it more bearable. But, I was also afraid that you might have forgotten after being gone so long."
Title of the book can be misleading.MC isnt building an Empire, he is barely building a city.The city is being build in the background without us knowing which I find terrible.Where the city building chapters or empire building??? Why the hell would he chill in other cities except the one hes building.It had a great start but everything went downhill when you stop focusing on character development and empire building development.I think the title is clickbait and false.Get back to empire/city building and focusing on leveing his city to see his GF from the start again

This novel actually deserved all the time I gave to it ♥️I really loved the fights the main character (Jaxith) depends a lot on using his mind in fight plus his abilities and his strength bro destroyed a beast's jaw twice his size using his bare hands, he literally also made a massacre using his bare handsThe plot is great has lots of mystery that needs to be solved . The world design is great .I think that this novel is truly a hidden gem.
Just recently started reading this and I'm already at chapter 790. Love the pacing of the story and the characters. The only thing I'm worried about is the update schedule. I realized after reading that it hadn't been updated in a couple weeks and we're nearing a month. I don't know if you'll see this Author-san, but are you dropping this novel? Are you simply on hiatus for the holidays? Or are you going to be taking a longer hiatus for personal reasons? It'd be great to know before I catch up to current so I can decide whether it worth it or not to get privilege.
