first thing : I enjoy this novel
the reasons :
- the MC s poised, he keeps his calm even when he is insulted, as he needs to protect his family, so far he's the only that's really done that in what I've read, at the same time he doesn't let weaker people step on him when it shouldn't happen
- the MC is not a complete cheat like existence like it often happens, there is a system but everyone has access to it. so far there's only one time during which it can be said there's plot armor (the stone)
- In the "cultivation world" there cannot be the intervention of someone overwhelmingly stronger as they go to other areas after becomming strong enough and they can't come back, I think it is great for the stability of the novel, and it enshures there won't be a ridiculous jump in strength coming from nowhere for the MC
- the world building has started in the 70ish chapters, so don't worry about it, in any case the novel is likely to have more than 600 chapters (or so I think - in any case it does have a great potential in terms of number of chapters)
the last point leads to me criticizing the haters : how THE HELL can you criticize a novel on its world building when you've only read as few as 10-20-30 chapters ???!? are you for real ?! I mean, seriously all the novels I've read on Qidian so far are bound to have hundreds if not more than a thousand chapters, just give the novels a chance to grow and set a foundation for the characters before the world, you are just being ridiculous otherwise, it's like relying on first impression to categorize people, it's nonsensical

Trash of Count Family
Please don't read this stupid novel. The author is too stupid. Too much plot holes in the story. All players' skill beside the MC has high dmg and no Cooldown. No matter how fast the MC leveled up, no matter how epic the MC equipments are, how powerful his skills are, some random character newly introduced will always give the MC a hard time and almost kill him multiple times even though the character (absolute heaven) did nothing that suggests he was leveling up.i.e you can always find him in a bar or stalking the mc with his permanent undetectable stealth that can even fools legendary monsters.
Excellent approach to the story telling. Excellent translation. Good plot. But the chapters are too short. All in all, Excellent. Eagerly expecting the updates.
One thing up front: the plotting is ridiculous. It’s like an emu on crack wrote down verbatim his little brother’s ideas and tried to make them work. However, comma, it is the kind of ridiculous that is vastly entertaining. The protagonist is a pro at effing up everybody else’s crap.
Two telling, awesome details: 1) This uses more Chinese mythology ad legendary history, and more systematically, than any xuanhuan/xianxia I’ve read. 2) When the protagonist learns that past cultivation experts created pocket worlds by snipping off pieces of his world, he immediately vows, When I become a god, I’ll make those thieves give all that land back.
Fair warning: the level of misogyny is a little lower than average for a CN, but still very much there, along with the usual homophobia. If you can read past that and put your brain on low power, this can entertain you quite nicely.
I really like this novel and it's my favorite novel now. I had enough of all the stupid mcs who think with their **** and does stupid young masters so i was looking for a like time for a novel like this l. But the translation is a little bad partly because he doesn't has an editor to help and the problem is nobody likes these types of novels they like does annoying harem novels withs lots of faceslaps. What basically happens in those novels is tge mc goes to a place the annoying young master looks down on him then he starts to fight the antagonist says the name of his technique the bystanders keep says the mc is going to lose he is week he can't win and then bam!!!. O and it still isn't finished the young masters whole family goes after hin annoy him till he destroys the family. And the keeps on repeating itself. I used to like it years ago when i first started read Chinese novel but now it's very annoying and keeps on getting on my nerves.
What i hate in Chinese cultivation novels:
1: fighting enemies with cultivation a lot more the you.
2: be very young but still stronger and smarter than people millions of years older then you.
3: heals limbs and his whole body easily even when he becomes a lot stronger.
4: Cultivate with a unique technique and become so strong the cultivation levels don't matter (one of my favorite things in novels is when he enters new cultivation realms so my favorite movels Re the ones whose cultivation is the same as everybody alse.
5: Harems
And forget many othe important ones.
